One thing our new Manager is looking to address. Just the sort of thing I like to hear. Good article on Bristol live, perhaps someone could download the link to this forum.

Bloody dyslexia. I read "more peace and atheism" which I thought was a great compromise for a more inclusive Christmas.

Same words that GC used when the transfer window closed saying he missed out on a couple with pace.
Good comments by BG suggests continuity for the rest of the season!

Didn't the last manager say exactly the same in the summer, then it seems he couldn't actually afford to bring any "marquee" signings in? Although it sounds like at least JCH is on his way to fund more pace etc. "I think if we get a very high offer for a player and we think that's a really good offer, then the club may well accept that. Likewise, we want to strengthen. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-rovers-ben-garner-transfers-3675071

Google Ben's twitter page and he disects premier teams and their attacking moves, very impressive thanks GC for giving us Ben and compo. I have a good feeling about the appointment, Rich s bus is so overcrowded we need a train, UTG

For him to be saying that on his first day clearly shows that a conversation has happened already with the owners, which wouldn't be necessary unless it was incredibly likely to happen. Add in the fact that he's felt the need to mention it in an interview to manage supporter's expectations. It's what we all realistically expected, but that's a tough first transfer window challenge; "go out and replace our best player and only, regular goal scorer".

Karl Robinson expecting to strengthen at Oxford.
He said: “I’m expecting to have three players in within the first week of January to bolster the squad.
“I think the people we bring in will make us better, which is scary really.
“They’re not done but I’ve had the green light on two of them, so I can’t see why they wouldn’t.”
