Menayese Defensively athletic, so hard to explain why he has a really weak throw in. His passing was predictable and short passing game in particularlaboured. 6.5
Craig off the pace today and failed to marshall the defence as well as usual. 6
Kilgour battled but offered little in attack and part of an indifferent back three 6

Rodman Hard to say anything positive. Schoolboy error not watching the ball go out for their first goal. Needs a rocket up him as was poor in attack and had a shocker defensively. Should have been taken off and we move to a 4 man back four. 3
Upson really poor in midfield today, failed to provide any ball to the front two. First half was average second dire 5
Ogogo ditto. He closes well but needs to do more when we have the ball 6
Sercombe best of a poor midfield/team. He at least looks dangerous and has the ability to change his own and teams pace 7.5
Leahy verdict is out had a lot of the ball but hard to recall anything he did with it positively.6

Nichols if his volley from JCH knocked down had gone in would have been a contender for the goal of the decade but unfortunately he rarely hits the target. A long time supporter I am tiring of making excuses. Not sure he works harder enough of the ball. For now as last season we have no one better to come in. 6.5
Clarke-Harris He wants to score, he looks angry, maybe he wants to go but at least he creates chaos and chances. Not worth 2 or even 1 million but without him we are impotent. 6.5

Crowd over 9000 let down by a toothless display, not one player seemed to get the crowd going

Ref hard to blame him for the result gave us a very dodgy penalty that more than made up for a disallowed goal that was probably the right call.

Wimbledon a side far better then their position reflects. Competitive at the back and neat going forward. Deserved their win. 7

Manager Ben Garner, would have liked us to ho to a 4 man back four. Not sure logic of taking off JCH so early changed the game not as we had wanted. Early days but expectations are high.

Jaakkola 6 - a couple of good saves but should of done better for the first goal by pushing it away from danger. Clearly been told by the manager to kick less but towards to the end may have been better with route one.

Menayese 5- poor game. Numerous mistakes but doesn't seem fazed by them and hopefully will learn quickly.
Craig 5.5 - worst game for a long time. Looked off the pace.
Kilgour 6 - best of the back three

Rodman 5.5 - defensively poor
Upson 7 - looked good at times but poor clearance which helped set up the winner
Ogogo 5 - played on the right side and not very effective. His injury clearly hampered his up and at 'em style
Sercombe 6.5 - looked good at times. He was far better against Peterborough though. In that game he was playing more through the middle. Stuck on the left side against Dons.
Leahy 7 - Good game. Had lots of space and got up and down the pitch well

Nichols 7 - Tom had a good game apart from being unable to take a couple of chances in the first half. Surprised he came off as far more effective than the other strikers
Clarke-Harris 6.5 - clearly not match fit and touch poor at times but his presence alone makes a big difference

Subs: Adeboyejo 4 - missed one good chance and was not effective
Smith 3 - didn't notice that he was on the pitch

Wimbledon 6 - will stay up as their two strikers will get them enough goals. We should of won easily though. Rovers seemed to have been told to always play out from the back. Time will tell if they are good enough to do so effectively. Laid back style of the manager will take some getting used to. Too soon to judge but could of done with more up and at 'em passion at the end.

Hopefully the style of play is not a reflection of Ben's management, otherwise we will be in for a long second half of the season. Seemed to totally lose the mentality from the Peterborough game.
