We ve got our own munters, I could give you plenty of occasions where I have been embarrassed that they are Gas! Very true, a few years back and old bloke in his 70's wanted to fight my mate whose in his late 60's because he was 6 inches taller and blocking his view. Wrecks the day out but you get over it.

Sorry, I should have put that in my original post. Yes, he said that it was his family he was attacking. So, why did they not step in to explain that he has a condition that causes him to act like that? He was attacking his own family? Who said that? 100% of all city away followings are family.

Tbh I go by facts and what I can see with my own eyes rather than the hearsay and stories I've been told by people, some of whom I don't even know from Adam. This video is proof of an assault, shows some dickhead acting violent towards a woman and a child and it's unacceptable. If the guy is prone to violent outbursts then perhaps taking him to a football game surrounded by women/children isn't the greatest idea? Did they not think about if a situation occurred in which he got rattled and attacked someone elses son/daughter/wife? Seems like some pretty water-poor decision making as they look unable to cope with/restrain him if such a situation did happen to arise.
I know we have our fair share of belters but I have never seen anything like this from our fans, nor for that matter from what I can remember of many other clubs either. Also I don't think the excuse some people are giving excuses the rest of these 'fans'. Even if he had a mental health problem they weren't to know this and stood there and watched idly by as a random man was attacking a random woman and child, just looks to me like some cock who can't handle his Christmas booze.

Or perhaps he's been sectioned under the mental health act. All sorts of reason for thuggish and violent behaviour and all sorts of reasons why people make excuses for the perpetrators. Who's making excuses for violent behaviour? I'm certainly not. Equally I don't know the full circumstances.
As you do, please tell us EXACTLY what happened regarding that incident from start to finish, including the stuff that wasn't filmed. Interested to know.
It was not football related.

It was not football related. Hardly matters if it was football related or not. In fact, these type of incidents rarely are. The man had travelled to Charlton to sit in the away end to watch City lose. I find it ridiculous, on a Rovers forum, people queuing up to deflect or defend behaviour like this and quick to point out we have idiots too. Attitudes like that help to legitimise bad behaviour, whatever the cause.

Sometimes, granted, but usually not. You haven't stated why no charges are being pursued, and just because 'Julie' says so isn't really factual.

I have only ever heard of me Julie but have never come across her. Is she still around ? I got the information from a city friend, who you don’t need to know and he said the guy is on heavy meds, for psychiatric problems & it was family related.

Heavy meds, psychiatric problems or family issues don't excuse that behaviour in the eyes of the law.
