I don't understand the salary cap in full. However: I would of thought the extra revenue from the cup games can be used as it's un- budgeted money. My sums are around £250k so far from FA cup and around £100k from EFL trophy. We could be looking at a £200k jackpot if we beat Coventry! We have up to 10 injuries and kids exhausted . We need as a minimum to sign 2 players very soon even on loan. A goalkeeper and a centre - half is a must. We could get a championship fringe player goalie ( not cup tied ) and defender this week. These injuries will keep mounting up as we are in two cups and the board needs to act in days not weeks. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42994129

The priorty outfield player must be a CM who can actually play the BG way, every time our CM's get the ball they seem to panic whilst every other team as a CM player who can keep possession/pass the ball forward.

Topper We got 1 goalie with no English experience and two kids playing in defence who are exhausted. The situation with Davies is unkown to relieve the 'burnt out kids'. We have up to 6 midfilders and about 8 strikers . I think Tony Craig should get help first !

Home now after a poor game from Rovers
Unfortunately Jakkola definitely dislocated shoulder, Garner confirmed on Radio Bristol after the game and he was sent straight down to A&E after being subbed
I texted my dad at half time saying it looked like a dislocated shoulder, he landed funny diving to stop a cross and I saw the physio give his arm a good tug when down being treated.
Shame as he's been great lately, hope it doesn't affect him for any European competition stuff.

To me results are far more important than pretty football, so f it means winning yes bring back crap football

Tiredness is a factor at the moment.
Far from the whole picture of course but we seem to have a strong first 10 minutes from kick off and then fade. This would point to tiredness.
However, it is blatant that offensively we have lost our way somewhat. There doesn't seem to be much clear thinking when moving the ball forward and it's a problem that needs to be solved as soon as possible before not scoring becomes a monkey on the back.
Having said that, I'm at a loss to understand anyone taking shots at a manager who has been with the team for 9 days!! Any blame sent to a manager should be addressed to Mansfield. How can a manager who is his own man be expected to both preach the methods of the previous (successful) regime and impose his own ideas on the players?
As painful as it might be when there is a chance of the highest finish for a long time, is it not quite easy to return to the expectations almost everyone of us had just 3 months ago?! The fickleness is baffling.

So if you don't blame the new manager for this fact who should we blame?

I don't think people realise how hard it is to play so many games in such a short space of time - The players looked very tired today reinforcements are needed and players to get off the treatment table - as for the T.W.A.T.S calling for Garners head already you need to find the nearest mirror and take a hard look at yourself and brush your teeth because you are talking a lot of sh** MK Dons didnt seem to let it affect them... If we had 4+ points from the last two games we’d have been quicker in thought and deed today. We look a beaten team because we are a beaten team.

We’ve been riding on a big wave of luck most the season and not keeping possession nowhere near as much as a top 10 team should be, I’d love to know what team gives possession away the most in league one as we must be top of that. We haven’t had the squad to compete the whole length of the season and that’s obvious! To me JCH Knows he’s off as his attitude towards the players has suddenly turned quite sour Yet again we play 5 at the back yet don’t pick players up and for some reason think defend in numbers will be enough which is crazy as you still have to mark players? Crazy to give garner grief but whoever came in nothing would be any different Possession doesn’t win games playing to your players strengths does and we clearly don’t have the players to play a patient passing game. That’s not a knee jerk reaction to today I’ve been saying all season when defending Coughlans style saying that he had found a way of getting a very average bunch of league 1 players playing above their natural standard. We did have games under Coughlan where for certain parts or the whole of the games we went a bit tippy tappy , Southend first half , Bromley whole game at home off the top of my head and it didn’t work then and it isn’t working now. At least all those fans that couldn’t stand a way of playing that got us to 3rd in the league will be back and happy now eh ? As for whoever came in nothing would be different we don’t know the answer to that but perhaps if we’d employed from within and kept the style until the end of the season we might have had a great chance of playing championship football next season. I’ll keep supporting Garner and I’ll keep supporting the team but I’m disappointed with the road we’ve gone down these last 2 weeks. How can you can possession doesn’t come into winning games? We literally can’t make 3 passes in a row!!!! Garner hasn’t changed much at all it’s just our weak squad feeling the toll of all these games and we haven’t got the back up of the rest of top 10 have in their squads, These results were always around the corner but because people are blinkered and clueless their just blaming garner which is ridiculous.. I knew this would happen and suddenly GC is now referred to as fergie instead of the p.e teacher they once labelled him and all the previous posts of shocking manager who’s tactically shocking have been forgotten about! I fear the worst for our club as it’s becoming toxic with morons that must want failure than success. The reason we’ve become top 6 this season is down to a lot of luck and our best players performing in the first half of the season and now run out of steam and no quality in the squad to finish the job. The season we went up from league 2 our bench options were so much better but this season I look at the bench and it’s obvious there’s no game changers on there and players that aren’t league standard yet or will never be. As long as fans understand we won’t be going up this season and just be happy we’re not in a relegation battle then just enjoy the ride

In all seriousness I hope it’s one of those that popped out and popped back in again straight away and not a nastier, long term type of injury. JVS has done ok on the odd occasion but I’m not sure how good he will be for a prolonged spell as number one.

The winning margin is a more important stat than the amount of possession you had.
