Can you sign a player on loan for a month these days still or does it have to be until the end of the season?
Signing Joe Day for a month or two to provide some competition for JVS whilst Jaakkola is out injured might be a smart move but if it is until may, having 3 keepers on the books might be a waste or resources.

I hope we get Day on loan. JVS doesn't fill me with confidence.

JVS has done ok. Against Coventry in both games he was beaten when he was at full stretch, or nearly when the ball was put across him. I haven’t seen as many games as most and have only seen him play 3 times but he seems pretty good when faced with one on one, he does ok on commanding his box in the air and does well when shots come centrally at him in the matches I’ve seen. But he makes shots across him look difficult. I’m sure our keeper coach is aware of this and is working hard to improve that. But he is our number 2 keeper and I hope we persevere with him. Can’t really fault him for what’s happened in the last month. UTG!

We could do with an expierenced front man to help out JCH.
Remember the signing of Heffernan a few years back under Trollope? What a goal scorer he was despite being in the journeyman category.
I'd take someone similar if they're out there rather than another young loanee.

I'm still not convinced, but he has improved already, since the MK game.

Accrington Stanley and Bristol Rovers are keen to sign Cardiff City goalkeeper Joe Day on loan. #asfc #brfc #ccfc #EFL_HUB Makes sense Can't see Accrington being interested as the already have the excellent England youth keeper Joe Bursik on loan and a competent keeper in Dimi Evtimov for competition.

Striker, who can also play as CAM. Did well for Bolton in Champ & L1, but went to Forest and really didn't make it. Went back to Bolton on loan in the Champ and scored 1 in 9 games. Went on loan to Rochdale last season and scored 0 in 9.

Never seen a player's career fall off a cliff like Clough's. Looked fantastic upon his move to Forest. Barely made an impact on loan at Rochdale last season - just the 9 appearances. If the recruitment team want him, I'll back the signing as he's only 24 and has something special, it's just unlocking/finding it again for the lad.

I will give anyone a chance but since signing for Forest for around 2m (Guesswork/memory) he has fallen off the face of the planet and wasnt able to get in Rochdales team recently. Still he may have off the field issues so i wont judge and maybe a move away from the North will be good for him if he knuckles down. Loan first is wise and its one that could be fantastic or forgettable.

Looks like we'll be playing 3-1-6 on Saturday.

Looking through that Twitter account, don't think he's actually got anything right so far. Looks like he's just guessing and Clough is being linked with Sunderland elsewhere, because he has worked with Parkinson at Bolton.

Would say nothing in this rumour

I'd definitely go for Pitman - one of those players you love to hate - but has a great goal scoring record at this level.
Also, as in my previous post about Heffernan, played for the 'other lot'.
Would prefer him to Clough any day.
