I would rather we worked on him than Adeboyejo, who for me has made no impression at all. He does a really good Harold Steptoe.

Deon Moore playing at Bath Sat for Billericay but don't think he's set the world alight sadly. An opportunity for BG to watch him. Of course Bath was too far to go when Bobby Zamora was there.

I'm willing to see Gavin get some minutes again... not like we have a lot to lose with our current strikeforce

Good luck to Gavin, hope he gets a few games to prove himself, shame if he is cup tied, could have tried him Sunday

Good luck to Gavin, hope he gets a few games to prove himself, shame if he is cup tied, could have tried him Sunday Probably for the best. As other posters have said, once you play for two different clubs in one season then you cannot play for a third so, given Gaz has already played for Cheltenham, if we field him before January ends then we won't be able to move him off the books. I'm inclined to think we won't see him on the pitch until February, perhaps.

Gives us a chance to look at him against Stevenage.

4 goals in 20 games in the league below this season..... If GR is the answer then f**k knows what the question is! In fairness, the question might be: “Who’s likely to score more goals. Nichols or Reilly?”

If he plays just one game for us in any comp then we can’t loan him out again, I’d rather we loaned him out again

We definitely now need a goalkeeper and we may need a combative central midfielder. In an ideal world I agree that he should be loaned out again but it really depends on our budget and what happens to Smith and Adeboyejo.

Looks like Victor is going, personally I’d be selling JCH and reinvesting that cash on a couple of players to make us a stronger unit.

If Gavin plays tomorrow- can he not go elsewhere on loan?
My understanding is that he could have another loan given hes not played for us?

I've said this before but when was the last time we sold a 20 goals a season striker and strengthened the squad with the proceeds? We sold Lambert and eventually got relegated, then we sold Harrison and very nearly sent down last season.

We did pay decent cash and wages on a striker after Harrison left, just a shame that DC picked Payne over JCH last summer

But if he plays for us on Wednesday in the Leasing.com trophy, he won't be able to go on loan anywhere else as he would of then featured for three EFL clubs in a single season.

BG has today confirmed Reilly isnt back with the club yet but will be back shortly. And when he is back BG will sit down with Reilly and discuss what happens next. If he is in BG's plans he will then use him for the rest of the season but if he is not in his plans then it would be unfair to Reilly if we play him once because he then cant go elsewhere as played for Cheltenham and then us, mas 2 teams per season.
