F*ck me I don't know if it's ethically or legally allowed, but we need to get rid of Garner ASAP. Since Garner has taken over: - We were: 4th in L1, 35 points, +4 GD.
- Now: 13th, 36 points, -5 GD.
- Our form: LDLDLLLL.
- We've scored 3 goals in his 8 games.
- 2 of those goals were penalties. The other was a free kick.
- We haven't scored from open play.
- 14 shots on target in 8 games - 50% of those came Vs Wimbledon & Coventry at home. If you take those games out, we're 1 shot on target per game.
- We haven't scored since 3rd Jan.
- We haven't scored in the league since 26th December, which was a penalty.
- He has told Nichols he can leave & doesn't play him, without having any back up.
- He hasn't signed a striker.
- He sign's attacking players, but doesn't produce a formation where they can play - not does he even start 2 of them.
I've officially joined the camp, Garner out!

Yeah it’s not like we are loosing 1-0 to last minute goals anymore. We are getting thrashed every game now. Isn’t that three 3-0 away defeats in a row with a 2-0 loss at home? Getting thrashed ever game?? Last week it was 0 0 with 6 minutes to go and JCH missed a good chance. Scoreline didn't reflect the game today. Even first half and we missed the best chance. They scored 2 goals in a row, then we came back into it. JCH missed a good chance, new winger forced a good save. Better performance against a team that won away to Oxford last week and have now won 5 in a row. Finally have a week without a game. So let's see how the next 2 games go. Good point. JCH had a few chances today, but he isn't on top form... hopefully he gets his striking boots back on Feb 1st.

How is it possible to go from keeping loads of clean sheets to conceding at least 2/3 every game now? Our ability hasn’t really changed, with exception of GK, so you have to conclude its motivation / confidence. I wouldn’t underestimate the impact of losing our super keeper on confidence of defence but must be more than that as we are sh**e going forward now as well I can sort of appreciate the argument that “this was coming” now. In the sense that although we were solid in defence every game we were commenting on a world class save that Jaakola would make- so we were giving the oppo easy chances even with our defending being kamikaze at time’s. With Jaakola now out those chances are being put away. He’s probably the biggest miss of the lot. And he’s probably out for the rest of the season.

I really do admire your optimism, fair play What optimism?? I just said it wasn't as bad today as loads are making out. Wouldn't be suprised if a lot moaning, didn't watch the game. We have played worse and won this season. Still think we will finish mid table. When player's return and new players settle in, we will be ok.

If we turn this season on its head from being a jaunt in the playoffs at December to a serious relegation battle, I will be so watered off. Me too, in fact I'm already watered off.

To all the people saying Garner out, have you forgotten that he's on leave right now and is not taking charge of the team? I accept that we're not very good at the moment and people aren't that keen on him being at the helm but it's a bit unfair to pin the blame on him for results he has no influence over.

Because then i can see him being sold with no one replacing him ... and then i'd be joining the "we are going down" brigade

I am very much in favour of a 2011 style summer clear out. We are carrying so many disinterested individuals it is embarrassing. We could have Sir Alex in his prime marshalling the dugout, If the players in blue & white on the park aren’t putting it in, we will continue to get hammered every single game. They were “putting it in” before Christmas so you’re not getting the manager off the hook that easily. Garner was a disaster of an appointment- no wonder the players look disinterested, they have probably got just as little faith in the custodians of the club as the fans.

Genuinely believe we will go down. Unbelievably after our great first half of a season, I think you're probably in the majority with that assumption. People can say 'Because GC left' but the 2 games after that with 2 interim managers we did even did fine because we stuck to the same tactics and gameplan. I hate to say it when the guy is having such a bad time off-field but this is because BG has come in and he doesn't have a clue what he is doing. He has tried (and failed horribly) to implement something that isn't working, we look just as bad now as when he first came in if not worse! We were hammered again today and I legitimately can't see where we're going to get any kind of win or even a point from... hard enough seeing where the next goal will even come from tbh.

Maher? Clearly we need to bring someone in as it seems that BG isn't due back anytime soon

Of course, we can't get rid during this time. But as soon as he's back, I want him gone. Do you really think he has no influence? He's in contact every day, I fully expect he's picking the team & telling Maher what to do.

How come everyone has spent the past 5 months bigging up the recruitment of we’re just a relegation outfit? I didn't think we were a relegation outfit at the start of the season. I thought somewhere between 14th-19th. Me too, but everyone on here was fellating Widdrington for his work in the transfer market.

There is daily dialogue between him and the club so theres sure to be influence. We would see the team set up back to how it was before Ben Garner arrived if that was the case.

We were never going to come close to getting promoted please stop saying we were in a prime place for a promotion charge and using it as an excuse to make things seem worse than they are.

It started with his appointment and you can’t downplay the significance of losing confidence. Confidence is shot amongst the players and even though Garner isn’t in the dugout those defeats under him are in the players minds. If we could get a win from somewhere it might all change but who is going to be meek enough against us for this lot to scrape a win? Jaakola is Proving to be a massive, massive loss.

I love how he’s so lacking in excuses now he has to cling to half chances and hitting the bloody bar as reasons why we are getting absolutely dicked week in week out. The poor lad will be inventing results next week and pretending we won because there are so little crumbs of comfort.
