..why not next Saturday v Fleetwood, and 28th Jan at Bolton? Because then i can see him being sold with no one replacing him ... and then i'd be joining the "we are going down" brigade I cant see any club wanting to buy him the way he is playing

Look I really do feel bad about bens family problems but at the end of the day he’s destroying our season. If he isn’t able to mange us then he should leave and look after his family.

But still calling the shots. By phone. It's a complete nonsense. BG has other things to worry about. Our Board have the distinct likelihood of relegation to consider. Get someone in to put this right now before it is really too late

Yeah you really sound like you "feel bad". He should concentrate on his family, I’m sure getting involved in our mess of a club isn’t going to help him to help them.

Shame that Nichols seems to have been completely frozen out.

We were never going to come close to getting promoted please stop saying we were in a prime place for a promotion charge and using it as an excuse to make things seem worse than they are. Be hard to make it seem much worse than they are seeing as we have an overgrown child for a chairman, no plan for taking the club forward, falling crowds, a poor managerial appointment and a completely disfunctional team

To all the people saying Garner out, have you forgotten that he's on leave right now and is not taking charge of the team? I accept that we're not very good at the moment and people aren't that keen on him being at the helm but it's a bit unfair to pin the blame on him for results he has no influence over. No what isn’t fair is for the fans to be paying the money in tickets each week to watch sh**e football and a manager who is tactically out of his depth. No he isn’t here at the moment which is why it’s even more crazy he’s still calling the shots and Maher is having to agree to his weird formations and dull tactics. BG out ASAP he’s useless.

Signing off this place for a while . Remember, we’re higher in the league than 90% of fans predicted at the start of the season. Even after our terrible run. Context.

I accept that we're not very good at the moment and people aren't that keen on him being at the helm but it's a bit unfair to pin the blame on him for results he has no influence over. It started with his appointment and you can’t downplay the significance of losing confidence. Confidence is shot amongst the players and even though Garner isn’t in the dugout those defeats under him are in the players minds. If we could get a win from somewhere it might all change but who is going to be meek enough against us for this lot to scrape a win? Jaakola is Proving to be a massive, massive loss. We are: Lacking in confidence Lacking in leadership without a first team manager at present and coaches that were critical to our success in the first half of the season, Dunne and Coughlan gone. Inexperienced in the backline. Kilgour and Menayese are good prospects but are making mistakes and leaving men unmarked at critical points in the match. Ineffectual in attack. JCH gets no service and has lost his spark and drive that had him scoring goals earlier on in his Rovers career. Missing bodies. Can't be overstated how important the likes of Jaakkola, Hare, Davies, THD and Ogogo are to us. Our inadequacies that were bubbling below the surface during the first half of the season are now visible for all to see and we are coming up against teams like Donnie, Coventry and Rotherham and it's just men against boys at times.

Yeah you really sound like you "feel bad". Come on, we all know what he means. It’s a results business. It’s perfectly morally acceptable to most rational minds to be able to separate compassion for personal circumstances with the needs of running a results driven operation. If a CEO’s wife falls ill should the company just grind to a halt out of respect? Rather than letting Garner be in charge of when the situation resolves the board should step in and take the weight off him by making an interim appointment til the end of the season. That has the added bonus of the players knowing where they fit in for the next 4 months and might coax a tune out of them on the pitch.

People have so quickly forgotten that GC left saying he 'couldn't see where he could take the club'. I never stopped looking down the table - he knew the only way was down too.

The Board has a duty to protect the business - BG is on what appears to be an open ended compassionate leave (and that is fine with the health of his family to worry about), so the Board should be able to say that we are bringing in x, y and/or z to cover whilst BG takes all the time he needs etc etc

Albeit I don't think he is up to the job.
