How am I goading you exactly? By asking you what you meant or by saying I suspect you'd want treatment for covid19 if you got it? [br I also asked you question , I’ve answered you but you’ve clearly , purposely, ignored the answer , now please f**k right off and never speak to me again as you’re a grade A w**ker Okebourne, please kindly don’t result to personal insults. Especially when I’ve told you to both be respectful of each other’s views. I think it’s best if you both try and avoid each other.

I should of known better to be honest as this barbrady chap has a massive chip on his shoulder and thinks his views are the only views , I happen to know other medical practitioners that have differing views to his , what I won’t have is condescending posts aimed at me and demanding I explain myself when I already clearly have. Really never been so watered off by anyone on here before.

That's not an opinion I can respect so don't ask me to. I attempted to de-escalate.

I’m sorry axegas but this chap has to seriously wind his neck in , by the looks of it he’s got some kind of superiority complex and likes to try and ram his opinions down others throats , look at the way in which he addresses my posts then look at the different manner that gassy and yattongas does , he was looking for conflict and if he talks to me I the he did he will get it. I get by the sounds of it he works in a hospital and has his view on things but like I said earlier , I also know people that work within the hospital sector Who would dispute a lot of the sh** that he comes out with.

Where, when and by who were we told that? I'd like to see the quote please. Beginning of January (ish) not too sure the exact dates , it was in the radio when we went into another lockdown , I’m fairly certain if you have a gander you’d find it somewhere I don't recall that myself and even if that was the original idea, it's quickly been overtaken by the February roadmap. If it was a politician who said it, then that's where it went wrong. Your choice on the vaccine, out if interest what could persuade you otherwise?

Nothing would be able to persuade me into taking it , I’m genuinely concerned about the unknown long term side effects. People will disagree and I’m fine with that but It just doesn’t sit well with me. I don’t believe that COVID is a hoax or that the vaccine is anything deliberately sinister I just don’t think we know enough about it , I’m 38 years old and have never been offered a flu jab because I’m ( touch wood ) relatively healthy and don’t need it , with today’s news it looks like the government don’t have too much faith in it working either , you can still have two jabs and they say you can still get and transmit it. Everyone has rushed out and got the vaccine in the pretence that we go back to normal on the 21st of June now it’s been pushed back. Im also quite surprised the more people haven’t questioned why on earth the government new about this ‘Indian variant’ weeks ago but still allowed international travel , if this variant was so deadly why on earth did we not stop travel ? Like i said COVID is most definitely out there , I just think something has been and continues to be slightly fishy.

Give it a rest you absolute toilet Didn’t want to do this but I’m going to lock this thread for the night. Will unlock again in the morning. If you want to continue this conversation further, I suggest starting a PM.

Like i said COVID is most definitely out there , I just think something has been and continues to be slightly fishy. The problem with the thrust of your argument is that we will never know enough about the vaccine unless people are actually vaccinated. What you appear to be saying is let everyone else take the risk, when its proven to be ok, I might take it, is that right? Personally I do not believe sticking anything into our bodies is absolutely safe, whether the substances are chemical or biological. But we do it as a balance of risk / benefit. This becomes increasingly so as we get older, as I can attest😛 For Covid vaccine, I willingly took up my invitations for two reasons. 1. To protect myself 2. To protect those that I come into contact with. I did this in the full knowledge of blood clotting risks, to which I am vulnerable, but for me the risks to myself were far outweighed by the benefits, as described. Lastly there is mutation. If I can play my small part in not allowing the virus to invade me and mutate, potentially killing others, then I do so willingly.

The whole world needs to agree on some kind of international travel plan, there’s no point the whole airline industry shutting down every month when a new variant comes along, it’s not sustainable.

The whole world needs to get the whole world double vaccinated . That s the only way I can see us getting out of this . It’s laudable that the G7 are planning on giving 1 billion doses away by Dec ( this yr I think ?) but with a population of 8 billion that’s a lot of deaths and mutations yet to come ….. plus who knows how bad these mutations can get .
