So just days after getting vaccinated she develops chest pains and was rushed to the hospital, then tests positive for covid (with a test proven not fit for purpose). "Jummai and I were shocked when we received the result that she was Covid-19 positive because she had not manifested any symptoms before taking the shot" said her husband. Certainly looks like the vaccine played a role to me, but can't be proven. It is impossible that the vaccine gave her covid. If you can’t understand that then really there is no hope. I understand she likely developed a reaction to the vaccine just days after receiving the jab, then subsequently tested 'positive' for covid with a test that has falsely diagnosed people in the past. Was just reading about another heartbreaking case of a previously healthy man struck down with Guillain-Barré syndrome following vaccination. “Trying to cover it up makes it look even more sinister" his wife said. Reminds me of the The H1N1 swine flu vaccine scandal where people were developing GBS and other neurological disorders following their jabs. So sad. Attachment Deleted

I agree nobody should be forced to take a vaccine. But they aren't.

I agree nobody should be forced to take a vaccine. But they aren't. OB your probably the person to ask ....is it right that people working in the health industry have to be vaccinated for hepatitis C. I feel that anyone working in hospitals, care homes, or anyone that has contact with patients should be vaccinated (compulsory) for covid. If either of my parents were in a care home paying out £1000 per week for their care I would like to think that their carers were vaccinated. Just my feeling.

It is a prerequisite for healthcare and I would suggest given the vulnerability profile that it should be a prerequisite for social care too. Thats a career choice though, if you feel that strongly about it then they can take a non-patient facing role or leave the professional as far as I'm concerned. Do no harm and protect people. I'd still call that a choice personally. To answer directly, I've been vaccinated for all sorts of things when I started - you have to be. Hepatitis, TB, MMR, HIV screenings, I lost count to be honest! I think you don't for care homes though. Nursing homes maybe. I think its about invasive procedures.

Is Hep C contractable other than by an exchange of body fluids? In care homes, if so, I would think that exchange is highly unlikely.

Something very odd is going on with the testing. I don’t actually think the government are fudging the numbers, that’s too big of a cover up. I actually think this is down to the public refusing to report/test themselves for wanting of a summer. That’s what you get for freedom day, eh?

However for every one of these patients, there are how many where nothing happens? Can you tell me the % in which this happens? I thought your argument on testing was that there were too many false positives, but you’re arguing for a false negative? There is no consistency in your argument pirate. It is completely possible to test negative for 4 days and on the 5th day test positive, for a couple of reasons: 1. You didn’t have the virus, then you caught it. 2. Covid has an incubation period when it’s undetectable If you tested us all on here every day for the next year, we tested negative and then one day, one of us tests positive. That doesn’t mean the test is wrong.. it means they didn’t have the virus.. Again, I’m not really sure what your argument is here?

Prof. Christina Pagel, director of the clinical operational research unit at UCL,reports some good news. Prof. Christina Pagel @chrischirp Some good covid news:
More evidence that the reduction in covid cases after 19th July was real - hopsital admissions in England have dropped quite a bit over the past few days.
Looking regionally, this is mostly driven by drops in the NE, but no region is increasing. Image 4:52 PM · Aug 2, 2021 1.9K See the latest COVID-19 information on Twitter
