Hope he does as well as he has tried working for us. I think he can flourish dropping down to L1 level.
We need another striker in I feel to ensure we’re fully covered. Unless this unlocked the deal for Timmy? ..have I woken up in a parallel universe where we're in the Championship now? Wake up Rod, we were in the premiership the year before. The premiership of moaners that is.

Tom will not be missed as a striker for obvious reasons but he was a very good footballer and always gave his all, think his talents will stand out in lg 2 and wish him well , good deal for Cheltenham.

How do you know we are haggling over one from there and Ashley-Seal? That’s the message from the Bristol post, we want a striker from Charlton on loan as part of the JCH deal and we and others are after Ashley-seal. I actually think it would be better to sell to Cardiff as at least they have a striker in Bogle who could come here and looks like he could score goals I’m Not convinced we were in for Ashley-Seal especially as Abraham has been on the radar a while, I’m also not convinced we want a Charlton player on loan after bowyers comments

When WAQ sells the Mem and we're homeless perhaps we could ground share with a Northwest team - smaller NW teams always get better dibs on loans from bigger clubs. We can't even get loan players from Pistol Sh!!ty.

Best of luck to Tom - hopefully with a fresh start, and some renewed confidence, he'll fly in League Two.

A lad who never gave anything less than his all for Rovers, yet the recipient of some of the most disgusting (unwarranted) abuse from so called supporters we’ve probably ever seen.
I wish him all the best and hope he smashes them in for Cheltenham on the regular.

Always committed and good to watch, except when on goal. Definitely played his part in our good spell, and not a waster like some of the goal shy front men we’ve seen. Good luck to him.

Good luck Tom.
I can't think of a more likeable lad who had ta take as much abuse as you did these las few years yet through it all kept working hard an acted with dignity an professionalism in a sometimes toxic atmosphere. Sadly th goals didn't come despite your 100% efforts. I think most Gasheads will always respect you not only as a footballer but as a thoroughly decent person.
Best wishes at Cheltenham.

Yes, good luck Tom. Hopefully he will take with him the reaction after he scored at Ipswich rather than anything else directed at him.

Cant help thinking this is a mistake BG.
We haven't been playing the type of football which suits TN, high balls pumped up field for our front men to chase was not his game but now BG is changing the way we play, 2 wide men and passes going through the defence rather than over it I think would suit TN much better.
We are paying his wages, so why not at least give him a try before moving him on. Also added bonus of his play are the chances he creates.

He has ample of opportunity to show he can score goals.

Even when he had the ball at his feet in front of goal he couldn't hit a barn door. Time to move on for all concerned

If JCH leaves later then we're stuck with those two tomorrow!

I don’t see what the problem is here? Tom was paid to score goals which unfortunately he didn’t, if i didn’t do what I was paid to do in work I would be sacked! Definitely time for him to move on, as said before a nice lad and I wish him well. Personally I don’t think that he got that much stick (unless I’m missing something?), imagine that record for the sh** he would have been crucified or indeed most other clubs. Anyway good luck Tom.

Rather die trying, Nichols has has 3 years to score, he isnt suddenly going to start banging them in. Rather roll the dice on the Timmy, who will want to prove himself.
