Blackman 6 I don't find his style inspires confidence. He hasn't made a mistake yet, just I find myself feeling one is around the corner (?)....also, all this f ing about with the ball - just clear it! ....also, has he actually made a save yet? I can't remember one!
Davies 6 needless booking and not on form for me.
Craig 7 steady.
Kilgour 7.5 best of defence.
Rodman 6.5 nice header in first half but too often pushed back to wing/right back duties with little help.
Clarke 6 frustrating as know he can do much more.
Upson 5 not his best game and another silly booking.
Holmes-Dennis 6.5 ok in first 30 mins but had his work cut out soon after.
Ginnelly 7.5 I like him!
Mitchell-Lawson 7.5 lively!
Clarke-Harris 8 m o m.
Subs: Barrett 5 didn't do anything.
Ogogo 6 got stuck in but also booked.
Reilly 5 can't remember his contribution.
Crowd 8 good effort.
Ref 1 bizzare.
Coventry 8 good strong team. Congratulations to them on fair result and deserved win....this is what we should be aspiring towards, minus the gamesmanship..

Blackman 6 the jury is still out Davies 6 not back to form yet Craig 6,5 a couple of crunching tackles and generally decent Kilgour 7 the pick of the defence Rodman 7 looked good going forward, less effective with the formation change Clarke 6 nowhere near his best Upson 5.5 early booking rendered him ineffective. Holmes-Dennis 5.5 a good first half hour, downhill after that. Ginnelly 6.5 a promising game, looked lively, faded after half time but should improve with more game time. Mitchell-Lawson 7 worked hard, bags of energy Clarke-Harris 7.5 M.o.M great goal, looked up for it and an improved attitude, maybe with the transfer speculation over we we get the real JCH back. Subs: Barrett 5 changed nothing. Ogogo. 6 put himself about with some crunching tackles. Reilly N,o.l.e Crowd 7 got behind the team well. Ref 4 fussy but missed a lot of infringements from both sides Coventry 8 lots of quality but i detest their play acting |

Davies 6.5 Commanding at times but not composed when playing out of defence.

Rodman 7 Tried hard and produced a few chances.
Clarke 5 Sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Upson 6.5 Love Upson but he's struggling to be the person BG needs in central mid.
Holmes-Dennis 6 Absolutely fantastic for the first 30, after that Dabo gave him a torrid time, forcing him into errors.
Ginnelly 7 Fast and lots of potential
Mitchell-Lawson 7 Ditto
Clarke-Harris 7 Tried hard. Needs someone to feed of the scraps.
Subs: Barrett 6 Competitive
Ogogo 5 Not as effective as I'd hoped. The comparisons with Sincs are marked.
Reilly 5 Difficult to say.
Crowd 5 So quiet in the second half.
Ref 2 Blimey O'Reilly. Where do they get 'em?

Blackman 5.5 - jury still out. Looks commanding at times but was hesitant on a couple of high balls and some nervous distribution. Has not made many saves since he joined.
Davies 5 - still finding his way back to match fitness. Distribution poor at times and a few mistakes.
Craig 5.5 - a nervy performance
Kilgour 6 - best of the back three
Rodman 5.5 - mixed bag
Clarke 5 - lots of effort but poor decision making and error strewn
Upson 5- early booking did not help. Struggling to find his early season form
Holmes-Dennis 5 - good first 30 minutes then poor
Ginnelly 6 - good first half then faded
Mitchell-Lawson 7 - lively display
Clarke-Harris 6.5 - well taken goal. An improvement of late
Subs: Barrett 5.5 - clearly has ability but doesn't look match fit
Ogogo 5.5 - slight improvement on Upson
Reilly 4 - an impact sub who did not make an impact
Crowd 5
Ref 1 - clueless
Coventry 7.5 - looked a better side than us

Blackman 5 - did the routine stuff ok but flapped and dropped one high ball, dribbled in the box and nearly lost it and several kicks were low fluffed ones. No real chance with the goals though.
Davies 6 - needless booking. Tried manfully against quality attacking play. Wayward shooting.
Craig 6.5 - too clever for the naive ref in that his dark arts were not punished by a yellow. Best of our defenders.
Kilgour 6 - got caught a couple of times which resulted in a booking, stuck to his guns against tough opposition.
Rodman 6.5 - probably the only player on our side who got better as the match progressed.
THD 5.5 - started brightly, faded rapidly
Ginnelly 6 - started brightly, faded slightly less rapidly
JML 6 - started the brightest, faded the quickest
Upson 5 - a game to forget
Clarke 5 - a match where for every good thing he did two wayward ones followed
JCH 6.5 - looks to be shaking off his injury niggles and with the window closed here’s hoping that excellent goal begins a period where he can cement his striker reputation as being on a par with Toney.
Ogogo - 5 rusty
Barrett 5 - didn’t start brightly, got worse
Reilly 4 - a no-impact substitution.
Crowd 8 - in good spirits, good turnout from Cov.
Referee 1 - should have just handed the whistle to Walsh - he was running the show anyway.
Coventry 8 - four times we’ve faced them this season and they’ve bested us easily every time. In truth after 35 minutes we hardly laid a glove on them.
