He's going to be found not guilty isn't he. The main witness, Jessica Mann, completely blew it in the witness box. There is no way they can find him guilty of rape based on her testimony.

Why, what happened? I've not been following the trial but I thought there were quite a lot of women that had accused him of naughtiness. Will the testimony of this one individual affect things so badly?

Four hours of intense grilling, she breaks down in uncontrollable sobbing and a panic attack where she struggled to breath. Sounds inhuman doesn't it? Four hours!

Jessica Mann basically told how she was in a sexual relationship with Wienstein for a number of years. Her story was full of holes. It was quite obvious that she was providing sex in return for the possibility of work in films. Don't get me wrong, I think the bloke is feckin awful. However, it does appear to be a two-way street. |
