First question: “ will we be getting a new big screen as the old one broke last week”
MS “certainly things are going on behind the scenes and we will get the replacement screen in before the Bradford home game, there’s just a little delay going on with the steel case”

That’s a very perceptive observation and probably too deep for this forum, although the overarching melancholy implicit in your reflection is perfectly aligned with the psyche of a Gashead. What Um...it was an attempt to be humorous (a bit dry admittedly) along the lines of the Bill Bailey “Argos” sketch.

So is this happening or not?
Maybe they’ve sifted through the questions and realised they don’t have any answers.

Can Martyn please tell us went we can expect some news on a new ground or some redevelopment on the mem.the fans are fed up with the shambles that we call home if their no new stadium then please do something and get rid of those awful tents exactly surely something can be made if the mem sure, we're clearly not gonna get that "bowl" design we were promised but surely a 15,000, all seater, affair with four stands of a similar height, maybe enclosed at the corners, doesn't have to be fancy, just something functional, modestly sized and MODERN. Surely an adequate stadium can be built without needing to cost £40m. I'm pretty sure we have the worst facilities in the whole football league, teams in the conference with far superior stadia to us, notts county, chesterfield, even Stockport county ground looks a lot better than ours

Unfortunately, I will be unable to make the Q & A this week, and whilst I note the Agenda will be limited to a specific theme, there are a number of questions (apart from stadium and training ground) which I contend should be of concern and maybe could be answered by Mr Starnes to reassure supporters?
(1) Who is actually in charge of THE football club at the moment? Wael Al-Qadi (President) and his brothers are in Jordan which is, of course, understandable and no doubt they have everyone's sympathy and good wishes. (2) That leaves two remaining board directors - CEO Martyn Starnes is the most senior and Supporters representative Ken Masters. We know the 'club' have legally banned Mr Masters, so presumably, there can be no meaningful cooperation in the boardroom? (3) Who is in charge of finance? With a significant wage bill due this week, an AGM due within weeks, the Club losing a significant amount weekly, monthly, annually, and no finance director in place who is taking responsibility for keeping an important eye on the Club's accounts, and are bills being paid, and on time?

A good question about who's in charge, although I doubt if they'll want to answer it since it doesn't concern the matchday experience. I wouldn't get too concerned about the accounts. Bringing in accountants or finance professionals on short term contracts is easy enough. I find it hard to imagine that even our hands-off owners are just letting that drift.

But someone will have to confirm that the Club can meet it's debts on the accounts - not easily dismissed

On a separate note has anyone had an email from the club confirming wednesdays match experience meeting?
I registered when the info came out, but I was hoping for a confirmation email to either say I could go with details or to say sorry but it’s too busy. Just like this q & a, I don’t care if I’m not gonna like the answer, I just wanna know!

Don’t wait for the Club to update you, on any off field Developments. Simply ask a friend to drop round and kick you in the balls. 👍

Thinking of opening a book as to what will happen first, news on the fruitmarket or a Q&A.

Nope, doesn’t look like it. The post reported earlier on this week that the Q+A has been recorded and should be released this week. I wonder what the hold up is.
