Then I’ll give him another 5 games or so to build on those 3 points Hysterical ... You talk like the Club will care if you are there or not ! They do not give a toss if one of you or one hundred of you don’t go again ... Wake Up ! We are not important to them ! FWIW ... I still back BG .. I have to ! Did you mean to reply to my post? Because I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

I don’t agree with you but that doesn’t mean I’d call you a dickhead. Completely unreasonable response. Allowing someone out of their depth to keep digging themselves a hole in a hostile environment seems like a pretty dickheadish thing to do though. They won't sack him so let's get behind him. I think that a lot of us are just fed up of being taken for granted by the shambles running the club and being expected to accept mediocrity.

Yep lots of frustration mate, but I’ve been watching them for 48 years and it’s never been any different! I still love it though 😁 :mug:

Mediocrity is what we’ve always had bar a few seasons in the 50s and 70s where we were slightly better than mediocre

A lot of referee bashing. Pressure starting to show? Tbf, the referee was absolutely terrible for us. But yeah, he also complained about the referee against Coventry as well I think?

I wouldn’t, I couldn’t it’s the cross I have to bear, good and bad. UTG!

A lot of referee bashing. Pressure starting to show? I don’t know. I think it was a fair interview. He clearly knows his onions and I feel if we can get that elusive win then we will start to see things turn around with the pressure released a little. Halting a losing run is always a hard thing to do and requires a lot of character in the team. Fingers crossed for what seems a huge game for both teams on Tuesday.

A lot of referee bashing. Pressure starting to show? To be fair I am quite impressed by that interview. Im not bashing him or saying that he should be sacked, only that we are not going forward right now.I just want us to get two or three victorys under our belt and points on the table then Im hopeful the style and play he wants to play will show.

Mediocrity is what we’ve always had bar a few seasons in the 50s and 70s where we were slightly better than mediocre Exactly. In reality the club as a professional football outfit has been mediocre for almost all of its existence. It has spent a few seasons in second tier football and never ever in the top echelon. We are now where we always seem to be. A mediocre third tier club whose major ambition appears to be the avoidance of relegation. The actual miracle is the loyal fan base. The fans have had to tolerate this mediocrity for decades and decades. It really is a wonder that people continue to support a club that has been tragically misdirected for seemingly ever.

A lot of referee bashing. Pressure starting to show? He shouldn't be blaming the ref for our losses when he hasn't proved he can win a few games off his own back first.

Fair enough, I'm the opposite & didn't see the Coventry game Referee bashing is a favourite deflection tactic used by managers to explain away other shortcomings closer to home. You don't often see managers of successful teams criticising referrees. Other than SAF and he was a one-off!

I get what you’re saying but Coughlan criticised the referee all the time and I think you’ll agree he was successful with us?

Constantly moaning about the referee and they get all the decisions going their way! But otherwise I tend to agree, yeah
