Agree with all of this apart from the settling with a point. With Sunderland, Ipswich & Peterborough coming up we have to win this game otherwise we'll have to wait another month to have a chance to win at home. If Ben wants to be here next season then he has to pick up points against Shrewsbury, Southend & Rochdale A point each from those three may be enough to keep Rovers up, but if that is all it takes to keep BG in a job they won't sell a season ticket. I'm still getting a season ticket - cos I can see he's trying to get footballers into the club and play a better brand of football.

I think we're safe anyway tbh. When I say points I more mean wins - home to Shrewsbury & Rochdale are must wins, no excuses. (How many more can Ben be given ffs?). Southend I guess I could accept a draw away from home, providing we win the others

If I was in Bristol, I think I'd get a season ticket in 99% of cases tbh.

Am I the only one that finds rolling out the whole Taming of the shrew(s) line tedious every time we play them...or am I missing something?

....................you can dance if you want to ! Believe that is a line from the song that Wycombe run out to. Bloody wet and windy again tomorrow. Shrewsbury are decimated by injuries and looking at the forthcoming fixtures we have (apart from Southend) this has to be an important one to win.

On the other hand I expect that Shrewsbury and Southend are both looking forward to their future fixtures with us and thinking they can win.

narcissistic adjective having or showing an excessive interest in or admiration of oneself . I don’t see anything at all that could be close to narcissistic in being keen to start a post. Not nice to be using psychiatric terms even if in jest.

narcissistic adjective having or showing an excessive interest in or admiration of oneself . I hate narcisstic people! You should pity them. Having been in a relationship with one, I can tell you that they suffer and are often totally isolated yet will never ever believe they are anything other than perfect. Don’t hate GGMI. It will only ever harm you. Narcissistic people often have borderline personalities and I am still healing, after my 14 months of having a rollercoaster relationship with one. Stunningly beautiful but so badly damaged. They can only get better if they accept that they have made errors and, for many, that is never.

I hate to be pedantic ggmi, but its: 'The taming of the shrew', not 'taming of the shrews'.... Greg, I’m pretty sure he was writing about a football team and not even thinking of the Bard

Is Sercombe back for this one?
With Abs out I think our Midfield is going to be completely desolate of anyone who can tackle...with four at the back we will be opened up down the middle repeatedly !!
I am hoping Sercombe can at least help us to move the ball forward because Clarke and Upson are nowhere near good enough. Last Saturday first half stats suggested Clarke had made zero completed passes, zero successful tackles , another game just passing him by.
Personally I would like to see Barrett and Sercombe both play … unlikely though I know. Wonder if Leahy or THD might even move to replace Ogogo tomorrow?
Hoping for a win but we often have attitude problems against poorer sides - Can see a 0-2 or 1-2 and more meltdown on here.

Only Bolton (8) have scored fewer away goals than Shrewsbury (9) 0-0 written all over this one. The trouble is that 2 of those 8 goals we’re against us! 😂

Listen mate we have already had one thread today descend into a debate about the rights/wrongs/whatever’s about sexuality/gender/fluidity rollocks. Let’s not start mixing our cereals together now eh?!
