A challenge to Keith Brookman to find quality posts about Rovers, and of course any other fans. From the fans forum this week it was requested to publish positive news so lets try just this once to make this a positive ONLY link
“It was the most special group of players, even in the coaching career after, I’ve ever worked with,” he said.
“There was a bond and togetherness with that group. A great set of lads and I was honoured to lead that group and call them my players.
“I’ve been very fortunate in my career. I’ve been in football since I left school. It’s one of the, if not the, finest achievements of my career.
“I’m really proud and honoured to have managed the club. It’s a club that’s always close to my heart. It’s a wonderful place in a great part of the world.”
Paul Trollpe this week (Note the wonderful place comment, no reference to an embarrassing sh** pit often spoken about on here)
In the corner by the family terrace every game is the famous flag stating "Make us dream" It rings in my ears every game "Good Night Irene I'll see you in MY dreams
There must be poets out there who could write something appropriate along those lines

Didn't Trollope once say something along the lines of:
"We're much better when we don't have the ball"

Didn't Trollope once say something along the lines of: "We're much better when we don't have the ball" Well that’s just “the way we live now”.

That 06-07 squad is my all time favourite rovers team, I was 1 in 1990 so didn’t live through it.

Many years back Bobby Gould explained to a radio Bristol interviewer that 'we are very fortunate this year in that Christmas Day falls on the 25th'

Ray Graydon when Manager “We have a plan, but it’s not a very good one” I suppose the first half of it was positive, at least we had a plan.

"I cant comment on that" Martyn Starnes.
"How much can I get them to pay for that?" Tom Gorringe.
