I’m sure someone off Sesame Street could have picked up more than one win. It’s a fckin simple game. When we got the ball get into space, when they have it get tight. This is the really important part - Pass the ball to the bloke in a Rovers shirt. To be fair, that would have been quite difficult  for any team wearing blue, yesterday! Tru dat, what a Sunday league balls up. Obviously Shrewsbury F up, can we replay the game?

Forget Roy Keane. If GC was in charge those players would have been terrified to come off the pitch to meet him after that performance. GC turned us in to a team that was hard to beat and no one wanted to play. We were hard. Now we have a team of Southern softies, wimps, girls blouses. GC wasn't liked because he was abrupt AND I think some people think his "personna" wasn't good enough, or his interviews. He is old school football, and we dropped him to get someone from the new school of coaching. Interesting that Garner was watching out games 2 weeks before Coughlan left We didn't drop him. He left us.

It's now Gaschatfact that we got rid of GC, even though he was desperate to stay.

We had mid week games over a period of time, plus injuries to key player's on top of that. Shrewsbury's games had had an effect on them, have you seen their results lately?? They have hardly been on a good run 😂. I stand by what I said at the time. Might be because I've studied it a lot, but I do think it has a big effect. Shrewsbury were not good an Saturday. Both sides were poor. Atleast I'm consistent. I don't like calling people out. But as you have, I will. I saw you used it as an excuse yourself, when sticking up for Garner a few weeks ago. It did make my laugh, after what you were calling me 😂. Are you for or against him today?? Seem to change your mind all the time. Bites Central!!! 😂😂 I have never been confident about him but I like to back our managers until I can no longer find a way to defend them. After Saturday I got to that stage. He needs to go now. If he went now, no one could argue with it. If we were closer to the relegation zone, he would have gone already. As we are very unlikely to go down, I think we will give him a bit longer. It was always going to take time to change the way we play, but we still have to get results in the mean time. To play this way, we need a fit right back and some better centre midfielders. First few games of playing this way, with Little at right back, we actually looked ok. But I think everyone had enough after watching that on Saturday. Funny thing is, Daly looked ok when he came on. Plus the 2 loan player's, have been two of the better player's lately. I said we would have had a dip under GC IMO, due to the amount of games. But obviously not as bad. If he stayed and got to bring in player's and kept the squad together, who knows where we would be.

Axe.give us one positive since he has been in charge? It's like trying to defend someone with a gun in their hand over a dead body and saying they killed him The smoking gun was planted! But being serious, I guess his philosophy, his contacts and his interviews are a plus. Just wish it would translate to success on the field admittedly. Yes he has the contacts, a good philosophy etc. but it's no good if the team don't want to play for you. In his interview after Saturdays game he said they practised his policy really well in training but failed to do so on the pitch. This looks like the players don't believe in it and certainly didn't look like they had any kind of tactical plan on Saturday. I was all for giving BG a chance (even prepared to go backwards before we started to go forwards) but I don't see any shoots of progression and whilst I think we are safe this season unless the team start believing in him then a change is needed ...and soon!

I don't know that indicates they don't believe in it. It might just be too much, or too complex, and might take a while to sink in. I don't recall who said it, but someone said, the last thing you learned, is the first thing you forget once the match starts. Basically, keep it simple.

What is the saying - 'In any conflict no plan survives first contact with the enemy'. Of course it's not quite the same, but if the opposition won't let us play the way he wants - or we're not good enough to play that way when faced with real opposition rather than just doing it on the training pitch - then BG has to realise that and change it. He is just displaying the inability to manage a situation by persevering with an approach that doesn't work.
