The really sad thing is that there will be hope in some corners that we lose just so BG gets the boot.

Regardless of the result, it's unlikely that BG will be sacked. The owners seem committed to him for the foreseeable future. The time he needs to worry is when he gets a vote of confidence from the owners.
As for dropping the current underachievers: where do you start and how many? The whole team is playing poorly!

There is nothing to loose if he brings in a feww of the development squad. At least they will give 100% as apposed to several of those not pulling their weight ( no pun intended to Barrett)

With JCH possibly out would it be too soon to give a debut to Kieran Phillips or have him on the bench at least?

I would question your we don't often lose at Southend. I haven't looked up the records but I can't say I have that many happy memories of visits to Roots Hall. I have the feeling we will struggle to get anything this weekend as to beat a team you have to score goals however bad the opposition and at the moment it is not something we have been doing. Shrewsbury, Tranmere and Bolton have all struggled badly recently and yet we have only managed two points out of 9. if you look back at the records, we have lost 3 times, in the last 13 games, played against Southend. I would say, we’ve not lost many games. 👍🏽

Your saying bring more in from our own, who have pretty much, been getting smashed every week. What is that gonna prove?

No, the only thing that will prove, is the to the poor paying supporters, were still watching a team, that’s clearly not up to it

I think the fitness levels have dropped since Garner arrived, maybe because of his more skill and technical approach.

Who knows what Wael and Starnes think as we never hear them speak and we only see them occasionally from a distance.

A Southend fan just wrote this to me
"No ones being paid again, this time it isn't just youth players, everyone at the club isn't being paid. We'll once again be fielding a majority side of youth players. Even with your bad form if you can't beat us at the moment then I would think your new manager might find himself on the thinnest of thin ice."
if it turns out to be youth players and we don't win then Garner has to walk, surely?
