Couldn’t bring myself to actually boycott tonight so going to stand out in the cold wet and the wind.

Rovers 200 to 1 to win 4-0 tonight. Lump on, sit back and watch the pounds roll in. . You never know - it happened in this third tier fixture back in the mid-late eighties. Took a shocking tackle breaking Kenny Hibbitt’s leg to stir us into action that night - perhaps someone needs to take one for the team😮

I'll be there...bring the noise! "we want Garner out"....sick to death of being treated with such contempt.

Not going tonight for one reason BG I though you rarely attended mid week games anyway from Shrewsbury?

Not going tonight for one reason BG I though you rarely attended mid week games anyway from Shrewsbury? Yes you are right, but Sunderland is usually a good call, and I admire their support so under normal circumstances I would have made the effort tonight

Good man, give it some for me as well- due to not living locally I will be listening to the commentary but will be there in spirit venting my spleen at the people who are turning our club into a bigger laughing stock than it usually is.

Got a strange feeling we'll scrape a point tonight...no logic to it I know but stranger things have happened. Law of averages...even the worst teams pick up a point or three sometimes. Must admit for first time in 55 years, I really don't care what the result is tonight. BG has managed to create a level of apathy that even Graydon, Buckle and McGee could not achieve. I'll watch on ifollow as can't be arsed to drive 120 miles tonight. I feel the same way, and fully agree apart from the scrape a point bit perhaps. Could have written a very similar post : 54 years and 110 miles worth of can't be arsed!

I'll be there this evening, but only because I'm all paid up as a season ticket holder, there is no way is I'd be parting with my hard earned cash on the day.
I'll be joining in any Garner out protests, I certainly hope he doesn't get a round of applause pre-kickoff.
If we do lose then I actually hope we get thumped as I think it's the only thing that will galvanise the protesting and it might just wake up the board (here's hoping anyway!). It's a shame really, home to Sunderland should be one of the highlights of the season.

The team have played poorly for spells in many games this season .With the abandoning of 8 defenders and 2 strikers the poor spells now lead to conceding goals. Play a defensive spoiling game and rovers can win 1-0 tonight. Try anything else then defeat is most likely the outcome unfortunately.
So it's either a 1-0 win Or A 4-0 defeat.
