First one that came to mind.... He's only a poor little Robin/sht'head, Only a poor little Bird, He made me feel sick, So i hit him with a brick, And now he don't sing anymore... Ashton gate is falling down, falling down, falling down, repeat Poor old city, Build it up with blue and white, blue and white, blue and white, repeat Bristol Rovers. He's only a poor little Robin, His face is all tattered n torn He made me feel sick, So i hit him with a brick, And now he don't sing anymore... i remember it as above. a chant, should be resurrected I want to sing you a song, it wont take long, it goes like this All coppers are bastards Build a bonfire Build a bonfire put a shithead on the top and burn the fookin lot cant remember the missing lines something about Sh1!heads a dustbin and a dead cat cant remember the tune or the order of lyrics When the red red robin goes bob bob bobing along shoot the bastard shoot the bastard Oh when the reds, get kicked to feck (insert name of team we were playing) Oh when the reds, get kicked to feck I wanna be in that number when the reds, get kicked to feck (repeat till it did yer head in)

When I was young my Father said,"Son I have something to say." And what he told me i'll never forget until my dying day. He said,"Son, you are a Rovers Fan and that's the way to stay, Son, you'll be a Rovers Fan until your dying day". Sung to the song "Bachelor Boy." Cliff and the Shadows. that really flows ,dead good, and should be sung now!!

Most of my memories relate to Gordon Bennetts gang in the south enclosure, his voice bellowing out over Eastville in that west country burrrrrrrrr…. Roversssssssssssssss! the songs were a bit more genteel than some on here but just as passionate, what a great character and super fan, can see and hear him now!

Was he the first to be that vocal, the first to start the singing at football? I'm probably being delusional! I used to stand by him and who could forget when the opposition had a corner his South Glos 'NO DANGER' would bellow out followed by a quick blow of his hunting horn. Quite by chance in later years we worked together. What a true Gashead (though not called that then) I can tell you if the youth team lost he was miserable for several days after.
