Our away support is very good, but our home support is below par. Other than the DC era our home support since I’ve been supporting has been avg 7000ish if we’re lucky - usually below that!. Especially considered we’ve taken 40K to Cardiff, 44k to Wembley, 30K for a conference final at Wembley. I know they’re big days, and we’ve got a sh**e stadium but it’s our sh**e stadium.

As mentioned the supporters we take on the road are second to none. Even when things are not going to plan, it’s constant noise for 90minutes & behind the boys till the last second. With your average home fan (the ones near me anyway) it takes one misplaced pass in the first five minutes and the moans and groans will start, very rarely letting up.
Wimbledon, Shrewsbury and of course Ipswich were my top 3 matches on the road this past season. Shrews especially was immensely enjoyable.

I’ve edited his post with the link to the article that he is referring to. It’s all 72 clubs in the Football League and doesn’t include Premier League teams, which means 35th is actually very average in terms of numbers and places us mid table in league one on away attendances, about the level the team performs to anyway. I'm confused. Isn't that table about home attendances?

You didn't see the hundreds (sic) streaming out at Sunderland not long after the hour mark then.

I find these tables very misleading as every season the clubs in the league changes ,meaning sometimes you end up with clubs closer or farther away to travel. This season our only relevantly close fixture is Oxford who we haven’t played yet whilst the majority of our matches are north of midlands. I am sure Rovers away following would be a lot larger if we still had the likes of Swindon ,Plymouth & Exeter in our league.

If the season isn’t declared nul & void we could well see all of those in our league next year, in fact even Cheltenham too.

I see we finished above our City neighbours, can’t say I’m surprised at all. Heard more noise at a Bradley Stoke Town game up the GFA than them lot.
No doubt this will add another 20 pages of fake outrage to the most commented, most viewed, longest running thread on the ‘OTIB’ about the other team 😏
