I’m pleased about this. I reckon he could become a decent player given the right support. Has bad moments but overall I think he’s looked decent.

Hope Bunny Hare returns to full fitness.Had a couple of impressive displays prior to injury. Both he and Tom Davies played great up here at Burton early season.

Looks as if THD may be leaving then. I imagine Kellys contract would be quite cheap compared to most of the squad so doesn't take much out the budget to renew it for another year.

Kelly’s tidy at the back & no good going forward Leahy’s great going forward yet no good at the back THD has not seen full fitness since he was 8 years old
Thankfully the best full back at the club is close to a return, young Josh Hare.

Why are posters suggesting Hare's close to returning when he's already played v Southend & Sunderland?

Im merely suggesting a player who returns from such a catastrophic knee injury, needs a tad more than two appearances in a full Senior XI to regain 100% sharpness. Though I’m confident he will return to the form that (in the eyes of many) had him down as one of the signings of the summer.

Not sure you can class Ollie Clarke as a "squad player". This is the captain we are talking about who played in the vast majority of games. As others have said on here and I am in agreement, I think olly c has reached his ceiling and is a limited footballer. Hopefully we can add in the summer in midfield. Oh dear. Those armchairs must be comfortable.

"close to return" is a different saying than "close to returning to full fitness" hence my post, given he's now had an extra couple of months off and will have a full pre-season I can't see why he won't be fully fit whenever we actually play another league game.

Any new contracts may reflect the times were living in.
kelly could well be on different rates of pay depending on if we are playing at all, behind closed doors or with fans. Must admit i am surprised that he was offered a new deal as none of the managers he has played under wanted to select him mostly.

I think Leahy, Kelly and THD would all be good to keep around as they all offer something different.
Kelly is a natural fullback, leahy wingback and THD can play both and attacking left.
Be a shame if THD did leave but understandable. Like someone said before sadly could be jamie shore mark 2

I wonder what lockdown has done for Josh Barrett? Will he come back looking like Cristiano Ronaldo or Giant Haystacks?

I like Kelly and think there is plenty of improvement and development to come in his game and still young. Good luck to him. i personally think he will surprise a lot of people 👍🏽
