Well, it looks like The S*** will now miss out on the playoffs. I really do hope that now Wael has full control everything that it will accelerate our evolution. Its inevitable really that in the next few years that City will get to the PL, i just really hope we arent to far behind them. We've got 15-20 years of evolution to do in the next 5-7 years before they win majority of support in Bristol imo. People are going to flock in to that stadium to watch the big guns in their own back yard while we are floundering around trying to get a new stadium. It'll be interesting to see that if we do get a nice new shiny stadium, what sort of support we can pull in because i think a lot of the new generation are always going to want to watch the bigger teams. I just dont think its completely right to take that absolute water out them, they do a lot right and when they get rid of Little Lee, Landsdown will absolutely bring in someone capable of helping him achieve his dream and a lot of us will be left eating humble pie and will have to watch them on MOTD every week. Yes, they arent going up this year and its really enjoyable to watch but i cant help but feel that theyre pretty close to their goal and that is what worries me most about them next season. Why worry about them? At the moment we can’t compete and have to accept they’re going to be higher in the league structure than us. With SL’s millions it’s never going to be different and until we have similar resources we don’t need to ‘worry’ about them. They, on the other hand literally crap themselves whenever we have a bit of success. Last season when we were going well under Coughlin a couple of Sh1!heads I play skittles with were getting worried, really worried about us. They couldn’t understand it when I told them we may have been getting results but the football at the time was crap. They also couldn’t understand when I said I hoped we didn’t spoof promotion because we would get destroyed in the Champ. We aren’t equipped to contest up there and I would rather see us doing well in League 1. They just expect and think they’re entitled to success and it’s hilarious. |

That is sad I was hoping Little Lee would be offered a long term contract, which would have meant many more years of wasting Pantsdowns money outside the Prem. Hopefully the S**t will mess up again with another inept manager being appointed.

When you have a poll about whether to back or sack and only 32 out of more than 1,000 think he should be given more time then the writing is on the wall. Some of the big money signings were left out straight after he said he needed players he could trust it effectively meant he couldn’t trust them...and players with big price tags and big reputations are not going to be shrinking violets in the dressing room. Doubt he’ll be out of a job for long and I doubt the dark side will spend much time reflecting on his departure as they’ll be looking for the manager that can take them closer to their PL aspirations. |
