I sincerely hope if we ever get to that level, consolidation in the Championship and a quality stadium that we will appreciate what we have and are grateful to those who have achieved it for us. Bang on Al. Those twats complaining about being top half championship when there’s bigger clubs with bigger crowds and better history above them shows them for exactly what they are. A bunch of 82ers.

Listening to talksport and they just had a text in saying Bristol City are a bigger club than Rangers because the SPL is like League One standard. Therefore Gerrard moving to Bristol City would be a step up.
Needless to say the person texting in got deservedly ridiculed by Jim White.

I hope LJ sits back, puts his feet up and draws his considerable salary until his contract ends. SL has deep pockets, let’s hope he makes him pay.

On that basis if it doesn't work out for Garner we should go for Gerrard or Lennon as they would be used to managing at L1 standard. Now they reckon Thierry Henry would be a good shout. Delusions of grandeur spring to mind.

Michael Flynn (Newport) currently favourite for the job. I would be underwhelmed by that to be honest if I was them.

Next manager odds are next to meaningless in my view. Someone will have put a decent wedge on it as nothing other than thinking the odds at the time were decent value, then others will see the odds have reduced and then do the same, and before you know it they've become a so-called favourite. I would be very surprised if they appointed Flynn.

I'm surprised to see Michael Flynn as the new favourite Yes on Skybet. Even more surprised to see McGhee and Buckle quoted. Blimey that would be a great couple of appointments, Dumb and Dumber, laughable. Would be amazed if Flynn got that job. Hughton seems a more likely option at 6/4. UTG!

And of course they'd be right, counting amongst their number some of the thickest, dumbest of S. Bristols finest, they know better than anyone the meaning of thick. I have achieved the distinction of getting a mention on their mammoth thread, by none other than the memorable Peter O'Hanra-Hanrahan. Beat that!

Sorry but there really is no loyalty in football. Feel for Lee Johnson, continuing to do a fantastic job for the club and they treat him like that.

What I don't understand about Landsdown is when everyone in Bristol thought he should be sacked he kept him, then last May he gave him a four year contract, but after doing better, just over a year later he sacks him. I can only think there was a condition in the contract of 'promotion or dismissal' this season, otherwise it doesn't make any sense. Unless they had to pay him off with the last contract, but not this one.

Just a quick glance at the Championship table, which has Leeds, West Brom, Fulham, Forest, Derby, Preston, Blackburn, QPR, Sheffied Wednesday, Birmingham, Stoke, Charlton and Middlesbrough all far bigger clubs than Bristol City.
Being 12th in The Championship should be seen as a good season for them.
They've always been weirdly delusional.
