I have looked in as many places as I know where to look, but so far I have been unable to find any formal statement by the BRSC about the Letter issued by Wael. They have posted a copy of the letter on the BRSC website but no formal statement.
Isn't it really important for them to provide some sort of guidance on this - my memory might be wrong here but didn't BRSC lodge a complaint with EFL that the current owners of the club were unworthy to run the club?

I asked the same on Twitter. Are you surprised? The presidents club are tarred with that brush as well and quite rightly so. They have been made to look like a right bunch of foolish muppets.
Jim Chappell very publicly backed the wrong horse and dragged the SC into a place it should never have gone with no evidence for their public fanfare. If there was any humility and dignity about that organisation they should publicly apologise to our owner, step down from the chair and allow a fresh start and relationship to begin with the club.
The same goes for all the ones that sniped, attempted to undermine and destabilise, turn the fanbase upon the ownership, spread malicious rumours and gossip and even tried to have our owner reported for allegations which were far fetched and repugnant.
They all owe Wael a public apology, but I’m willing to bet my house that won’t happen. Bury their heads in the sand and pretend it never happened as usual.

I too have looked for a response but will not hold my breath. The organisation needs change and if you do not want it to continue as it is you have until the end of the month to put your name forward for any of the posts. Interesting to see that KM still holds the position of BRFC director on their mug shot section .He just can't let go of his perceived power

Wael's letter seems quite consiliatory on the subject of BRSC:
"it doesn;t change anything in terms of their entitlement to have a Director on the Board should they wish to nominate a suitable candidate"
BRSC's stated aims are to "support the Football Club, whilst ensurng we look after the interests of our Members".
My observation of the latest developments is that BRSC have a duty to nominate a suitable candidate and to fully participate in the future developments of the Club. I am not party to what has gone before - but this has to be the time to bury the hatchet and work together constructively to help the club thrive going forward. Wael has stated he is here for the long term so, surely, it can't be right that the owners of the club and the Supporters Club should continue at loggerheads.

Not sure about still running the show …. but when the season starts again they will all come out of hiding wearing Club ties , perching their arses in the best seats, dribbling over the free buffets, parking their cars in the car park on match day and nod / whisper quiet poisons to each other. Really needs new faces, new ideas and new impetus to take the existing fans and hopefully new fans forward.

You are such a tease BJ - and here I am still wondering how it would be possible to challenge them

You are such a tease BJ - and here I am still wondering how it would be possible to challenge them From my experience on this forum there appear to many posters who could fill a useful role on the supporters club and I am sure they would get the backing of us. Surely this is the right time to clear out the dross and install members who share the club's vision

Can I nominate Big Jock and Pirate as potential representatives ? A great mixture in my opinion.

Mr Chappell had it in for WAQ from the off. Never forget the dummy spitting over the absence of an open top bus parade (following Automatic promotion) and subsequent Bristol Post article that included the following; “It was Nick’s team that were promoted”.
Time to step away now old chap.

Is anyone on this forum also a member of the BRSC

Another question, has anyone from this forum replied to Wael's letter, either personally or on behalf of FFSC?
If not, would you like me to prepare a draft on behalf of us all, to express the seemingly overwhelming support to his latest statement - please note that writing letters by committee is not easy - but I think someone should make some sort of response.

I'm not a SC member but I will be coming out of lockdown where I've been in hiding wearing my Rovers shirt, perching my bum on one of the best seats in the stand bought already with my season ticket, dribbling all over the lush pasties and parking my car in the car park that costs a lot of money supporting the clubs turnover and nodding and shouting as some fine soccer entertainment. Does anybody understand how the SC shareholding being diluted by the new share allocation affect their own standing as shareholders? Surprised the SC haven't made any formal announcement regarding that issue alone.

What’s the point of a supporters club in 2020 and beyond. Genuine question. Nice of Wael to offer an olive branch but say they recovers their composure and took it, then what? Dilution means even less “influence“ than the zero masters et al had before

Is anyone on this forum also a member of the BRSC I used to be yes. Never understood what was on offer to be honest. The change of ownership highlighted what an old boys club our club had become. Now those old boys are feeling left out and we are finally progressing. All a bit sad really. Hey ho and UTG

I'm a member, purely for the reason of getting priority to away tickets. And a Helpline member too.
However, I do forget that I'm a member from one year to the next, as I receive absolutely no communication from the SC at all. A letter with your card in, and then nothing, until asking for your money next year. No letters, emails, texts, messages, invitations to meetings, nothing at all. That is pretty poor really isn't it. No wonder the committee never changes, no other bugger knows when the meetings are!
