One of these'll do it quicker: Crap ! It looks like I’m going to be out of a job in the future. The ironic thing is my names Sam ! Don’t worry socrates, you know as well as I do that they’ll never do without decent brickies. Something goes wrong with it, no technical support they’ll be completely b*****ed. Technology is great, when it works. UTG!

They wouldn’t be able to lay a course of bricks whilst at the same time keep a roll-up going and down to where it burns the blokes upper lip. They’ll never be able to slurp down a huge mug of dark brown builders tea, nor will they be able to take a water behind the brick pile. All pre-requisites for the average building site.

Tutonda and Liddle outnumbered by coaching staff, so presumably not in the line up today. Clubhouse now clearly underway, so even if the planning condition approval hasn't made it onto the South Glos web site yet, it must have been given the nod.

Are the buildings going to be bricks and mortar or are we still talking Modular. Cladding can have red brick affect. Modular will be much quicker install, i f we have to wait for brickie's it could be next season finish. Clearly not once Wael wave his cheque/Amex Gold Card by the looks of the progress already made, by the looks of things they'll have the roof trusses on before the Xmas/New Year break!

Fine pitches are all very important and all that, but this really will make the lads feel as if they are at the Mem.

Sorry, no pics, but I passed by Thursday and the clubhouse walls had reached head height. Two guys working on them but NO other sign of activity whatsoever.

A good few tradies I know that work on sites all finished last Friday, the sites are now closed. Mainly as suppliers to them closed up. In the grand scheme of things its not a massive issue as I believe the rules are that players can't use on site changing rooms yet anyway, they have to arrive all kitted out and then shower at home once done.

Any more updates on this one brothers? Nice to see the progress and I had a drive past in the Crimbo period and pitches looked immaculate despite the darn awful weather! Didn't see an awful lot happening though.

Just passed it. Three or four guys working on the clubhouse and scaffolding being erected for bricklaying higher up. No other sign of work on the site at all. Abbot's pulled out before Christmas. None of their plant on site. Not surprising I suppose as soil will be saturated and heavy to work. JVS doing shotstopping near the gate, no other keeper in sight.

According to Wael’s interview with Sam Frost, the likely opening date for the clubhouse is the end of April, assuming COVID doesn’t delay it further.
