You think he gets invites? More bullying I see from the Barton in lot. Yet surprisingly there are several threads, complaining about the bickering going on? All I did was click on the thread and state my view only for it to get jumped on. Double standards. Honestly you need to calm down before you have a hernia. You criticise Barton in strong ways and demand your right to say it. You criticise every aspect of the new facilities and insist on your right to say it. But people who exercise the same rights about your views and post criticisms of your views are bullies and should not be saying it. Can you see a contradiction here?

If you aren't able to stand up for your strong opinions without getting offended by others being at odds with them, then don't post them in the first place. It's a place for all opinions, but stop acting so butt hurt when others don't agree.

Back to the thread and those describing the facilities, it's a bloody big shed with lots a facilities. Not the sort of money needed to build such a development in the middle of a pandemic I would like to fund. UTG and UTWael Not long to wait for the stadium manager to give us an update? Applications now being accepted for The Gas Fishing Club, The Gas Sailing/ Wind Surfing Club, Model Boat Club, Suba Diving Club, Open Water Swimming Club on the soon to be completed Reservoir. Applications from existing season ticket holders only in the first instance. Be first in the queue for the next release by buying next season tickets to be announced next week. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/colony-project-manager-gives-update-4247818

No, you don't. Very sadly the way the game has gone since the 1990s makes that very difficult unless said honest, loyal supporter/owner is very rich. The only one around here plumped for the other lot. Get real, it's life, move on. What about Hargreaves? Is his favourite colour blue? 😉 Nope

A small shed for a gym, a couple of pitches and a clubhouse designed 20 years ago that is smaller than most peoples living rooms? Yet people lap it up? How disappointing. They were probably better off where they were, at least the gym they were using although not ours wasnt a total embarrassment. Just imagine what the Sh1!heads think. Do you really care what that lot think? Go and have a look on OTIB and come back and tell us what they're saying if your really that worried. When was the last time the club had it's own training ground and facilities and all you can do is complain about it and worry what the sh1theads think. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re already a member of OTIB . . .

Didn't someone suggest the construction team who do the pitches are scheduled to be back in the Autumn? I guess phase 2 will be the additional pitch or pitches and the extension as timings seem comparable.

As the extra work is using the same materials and it’s just a case of increasing size the planning may well be granted sooner than the window I have given which is the standard time frame. Also it’s is likely that pre planning advice was sought before spending money on the plans. Again this would speed things up. As for construction timescales let’s wait and see. It’s just good to have our own facility and I do find it amusing when people have a dig about it’s quality or size. Put your own hands in your pocket then!

Agreed, lovely to have our own place and we'll grow into it over time. You've ventured across to our sister forum then?😃

Well done to dderby2 for spotting this. The architects are (and following images by) Kendall Kingscott. If the latest drawings are followed, then some of the windows and doors that have just been installed will be changed. Added these so you can see them without logging on.

No doubt that weirdo who stomped off to create his own forum will be back to label this latest development as an embarrassment!!!

It looks like Barton's asked Weal why we're building a rugby clubhouse rather than a football club training centre! I see the architects did consider a two story building which sounds similar to Fleetwood's.
To answer my own question on the other thread, Wael doesn't seem to intend to reel in his spending.
