What would, at this stage, seem to you to be a satisfactory season, 2020-21?

Burger flipper in charge. Just scoring a goal is success

The amount of egg on faces concerning WAQ was pure poetry. It will be something otherworldly when Ben Garner has us competing top 6 for the duration.

We've got a spine of a decent team, Anssi for me is the best GK in the division, Kilgour and JCH. It will be interesting what part Daly, Harries and Josh Barrett will play next season, all have potential judging by their previous clubs fans comments. If we sign Max Ehmer, Baldwin and Josh Grant who we have been linked with and if we can bring in more creativity there's no reason why we can't push for a top 6 place next season. Here's hoping.

But that will not be for a long while yet.

Easy to guess now without having signed half the squad and allowed them time to bed in... but if we can improve on this year's 14th by finishing top half and being in somewhat contentious for the playoffs I'd be happy.
The training ground is coming, it sounds like progress is being made regarding the fruit market so off the field things are falling into place. That said, whilst I wouldn't turn it down, if we knicked a promotion this coming season it'd be too soon by far so I'd happily gradual progression.

The season was just cut off with us in 14th place and sinking fast. Bar the Sunderland win of course. Based on current form (as it was then) we might be expecting a bottom 6 finish next time. Maybe the break will help BG rebuild and rethink, but everyone else in the league has had the same chance to do that so I'm not sure it's much of an opportunity.
