Is it behind closed doors, if not anyone going? Pretty sure it is behind closed doors as some parts of Catalonia have gone back into lockdown and restrictions are coming back in all over Spain. Anyone know the format of the playoffs? IPG

From CE Sadadell's website:
"The Center d'Esports Sabadell will face the subsidiary (B side!) of the Atletico de Madrid next July 19 at 20 pm in the Nuevo Mirador de Algeciras . The second tie will be played on Wednesday, July 23 and the final would be on Sunday, July 26, with no confirmed schedules.
All qualifying rounds may watch in full by the streaming platform Footters . "
I assume Footters is their equivalent of iFollow?

I do not get this whole Sabadell thing. I mean they literally have one thing in common with us, colours. They play in a warm climate and i am sure the trip over there is a great p1ss up but.... ahhhh now i get it.

They are a really nice friendly bunch, ive been over several times as part of the organised tours and on my own (with my son). Bars near the ground are good also.
Its a great excuse for a cheap weekend in Barcellona and the oppurtunity to catch a match
Winter flights are cheap too
Will be going again a few times after Christmas (Covid permitting)

The day we were promoted against Daggers, I sat next to the then President of Sabadell, a chap called Antoni Reguant. He was a lovely guy and a real football person, he said he has grown to love Rovers as much as Sabadell and that even fans over there speak fondly of us and look out for our results etc. He also comes to watch us when he is in the UK and deliberately tries to coincide his arrangements to watch us at home. He was going as mental as any other the die hard Rovers fans were that day when Brown shinned in the winner. I loved going over there a few years back. A real sense of a community about the club.

Went over 3-4 years ago when we played them in a friendly. Fantastic weekend, and they love us over there. Four of us went over independently, but I know a couple of the Rovers' lads that organise a great trip over there, staying on the coast at Santa Susanna I think it is. Would definitely recommend the trip, although I would probably only go if we were playing them.

God, how I’d love to be able to wander up to a pavement bar, take a seat and enjoy a couple of ice cold grande Estrellas before making my way to the Sabadell ground to watch a game.
I miss being able to do these things without a second thought; I wonder if those times will ever return.

We were in hospitality in the East Stand that day, there were a number of their fans on a table near us. They enjoyed the day as much as the rest of us UTG

Sabadell just won on penalties! 2-2 (7-6) I was following it on a live stream as they've sort of become my adopted Spanish club, got to say I was impressed with the quality of the game, both sides would hold their own in League One for sure. I thought the tie was settled when the opposition scored to make it 2-1 in the 86th minute but a late stoppage time equaliser from Sabadell took the tie into extra time. It then went to penalties after extra time, Sabadell missed a penalty in sudden death, Leonesa had to convert the next one to win which they missed, Sabadell converted the next penalty and Sabadell's part Scottish goalkeeper became the hero as he saves their spot kick to send Sabadell into the Playoff final. Scenes. Sabadell were wearing a Green and Yellow quartered away kit which looked really nice too.

Appreciate if you could advise how to access live stream as would like to watch the final Cheers It's a website called Footters, they have the rights to stream all the Segunda and Segunda B games in case you're wanting to watch some Spanish football along with the Sabadell game. I must warn you that you will have to navigate around the site in Spanish and it costs €15 to sign up. www.footters.com

That is actually pretty smart. The one we had around 2011 was hideous.

Am I the only one who don't care what so ever about Sabadell? Sorry if that upsets anyone but Bristol Rovers is my team
