John Ward was the kind of man anyone would be hard pressed to dislike, real gent and inoffensive . Was is the key word here for me...and is Not anymore. He lost all of my respect a hour after our relegation into the conference when he talked to the fans at the back of he Blackthrone end and decided to throw DC under the bus by his comments - saying things like I wasnt in charge for the last 8 games of that season. |

As much as I want to laugh at this, I just have that nagging feeling that it might come back to bite us. Low expectations can be a good thing. It must certainly be a blow though, now more than ever City must have been expecting a big appointment, Lansdown gave it the big un on the radio when LJ left, its taken 5 weeks and they've ended up at this! Football as they say 'is a funny old game' he could be a disaster or he could be their DC. |
