Here we go, first real test of the pre-season.
I seem to remember them giving us a drubbing either last pre-season or the one before. Hopefully we can avoid the same.
I'm going for 3-1 Gas.

Regardless of result, which will mean nothing and have no bearing on the new season ,it will be good to see new signings and young players in a reasonably competitive environment.

Although I do generally agree with the sentiment that- the result doesnt count... I do remember that in DCs last season we got hammered 4 nil in a pre season friendly and the signs were there that we had an imbalanced line up.

I do remember that in DCs last season we got hammered 4 nil in a pre season friendly and the signs were there that we had an imbalanced line up. Quite right. It can reveal weaknesses and positives. A good win can give a boost too - especially with so many new players. |

Exeter are one of the better teams in L2 so today will be the closest we will get to seeing how this side will get on against L1 opponents before the season starts.
Hopefully we get to see a bit of Westbrooke and JML today.
