They played a very strong team from what I read on their Twitter reply’s. “Not far off what is expect for the start of the season” vs our mixed but strong team. Better team first half In the first half for sure imo. 2nd half we dropped off. Apart from Cameron’s goal that was about it... I literally fell asleep 10 or 15 mins into the 2nd half and woke up like 5 mins before the end so didn’t see much of it. so an exciting friendly . Sorry who was the better team 1st half ? IMO we were but could be biased 😂 but tbh 2-1 win over a strong line up for Exeter according to their fans. Exeter are a good side and our side was definitely not our starting 11 for the season as I think we are doing a mix for just fitness and to see how players do not to build our starting 11 yet. Like if youth players and not highly rated players with our best players they should play better than playing in a full team of youth & not highly rated players. If that makes any sense 😂

At the back we looked solid with and without Kilgour. Great to see Hare back too he can really cross a ball reminds me of Lee Brown but right sided.

Pirate do you know much about their 15yo Sonny Cox, apparently a real prospect? Not a lot mate, only heard like you that he's a good prospect. They've also got the highly-rated 16-year-old England youth international Ben Chrisene who has already made appearances in the first team. Conveyer belt of talent coming through their academy in recent years. www.devonlive.com/sport/football/why-exeter-city-academy-good-3135431Another one ive heard might be on his way to bigger things is Archie Collins?

One times write off , there you go mate 👍 No...... no... that's not remotely correct. You stated, and I quote "You literally stated in a earlier post we should get rid of him.". I said we should take the offer of a new contract off the table if he isn't prepared to sign it. I.e. we shouldn't wait around forever and if we've felt we've made a fair offer, we shouldn't be held to ransom. I certainly did not state we should "get rid of him". I'll await your apology with bated breath. If we withdraw our contract offer isn't that effectively telling him to find a new club or, even worse, just letting him run down his contract til next summer. If he turned up looking like Akinfenwa I'd still leave the contract on the table as we can soon get him fit, signing a replacement will be the usual trial and error (X5).

No it's not - it's saying take it or leave it. If he doesn't want to sign our best, fair offer then I'd withdraw it. Big difference to pro-actively "getting rid".

If he isn't going to sign now when there is an uncertain future then he's prob off. I'd give him until the end of the week or he's going on transfer list.

Surely he'll only be off if somebody puts in a bid and it matches our valuation, I can't see the point in trying to force him out like we are with Ogogo and Bennett.
