City 1-1 now and their fans don't seem happy at all! Pitch invasion at full time...oh hang on🤔! If you're watching in your living-room, you could invade your kitchen. I shall probably have to invade the bathroom.

This "no fans allowed" is going to be the end of football. No crowd, no atmosphere, soulless. No point playing these matches in stadiums, may as well be playing in the local park! Fans can change games, whether with a collective groan at a bad pass/shot or a rallying cry from a great tackle. This is just sh**e...glorified practice match. We need the grounds back open....FAST! I sense the 11 Rovers players on the pitch at present are quite content with their being no home fans!

Blatant dive there glad the ref wasn't fooled. So why didn't he show him a yellow?

Sunderland players have started the cheating (diving) but no 30,000 fans to influence the ref.

Definite improvement on the Ipswich game.
Seems like we have stopped fannying about playing it out from the back.

Massive half time for Garner. Has he finally learned how to give a team talk and coax a second half performance that’s better than the first?
Sunderland know they are in a game now and might go through the gears in the second half

Good half for Rovers, not pretty at times but have kept it tight and got that crucial goal at the other end.
Big, big 45 minutes coming up, 3 points on the opening day away to Sunderland would be such a massive confidence boost.

Positive first half. I missed the start of it but happier with what I have seen so far. I think we have made some decent signings, Hanlan looks like there is something to work with. Westbrooke is going to be a joy to watch this season. JML looks dangerous. Sunderland very underwhelming.

I’m only listening to the commentary, what are we doing if we aren’t playing it out? It is Jaakkola and the defenders that are mostly playing it long. Hanlan's hold-up play is decent and when the ball drops in the middle of the park, Westbrooke is seeing a lot of the ball and keeping possession well.

Not a bad first half, Sunderland don’t look great going forward which we’ve benefited from. Agree with others that the ref should have booked the Sunderland player for the dive.
We really dropped off around the 25th minute though and struggled to get out of our own half, we seem to be trying to get out a bit too quickly?
Big half coming up for Garner, this has been better than expected, but we know from last season that the half time team talk is where we usually come out worse.
Overall though, not too bad. Happy to be leading of course.

Only started watching at 10min Mark and I've been quite impressed. No really as an attacking force even tho we do look dangerous on the break but we seem to have an idea of what we are doing today.
Doing a good away job so far.
