Well could be worse could have re-signed James or have a scoring record as bad as Nichols .

A striker was needed and we've got a striker. Welcome Brandon, wish you the best of luck and 10+ goals this season!
It'll be interesting to see if he is straight into the XI on Saturday or Ayunga gets to defend his position.

Very quick and will really worry defenders, a guy that will run the channels he has not shown that he is a poacher, but Rovers fans should not underrate him. I would play both him And JA together, a combination of presence and athleticism, they need polishing but the two of them when both on the pitch will give opponents plenty to think about. He could also form part of a fluid front three with JML and Nicholson. I reckon that is more likely. Great to have the option of two out and out strikers though.

I would play both him And JA together. Same. Although I wouldn’t wanna leave out JML and/or Nicholson... so not sure what system you’re using then. BG doesn’t strike me as a 4-4-2 man.

"With Ben Garner’s coaching, the Gas believe he can add more consistency to his game in front of goal to match his physical and technical qualities."Oh dear we're fecked! 😄 To be fair Garner is a highly respected coach. Thing is we could never have got him as a coach when he’s coached in the Premier and championship before us. I’d like to think that if things are still going crap in a few weeks then he’d be man enough to bring in a number 2 to work with him like we had with Trolls and Lennie and give that a go rather than sack him and then have him coach at another club. On one hand I don’t want the club to get rid of him because I think he can be brilliant at coaching our young players in to stars for us. On the other hand his management record is appalling.

Does this mean we got him on a free transfer, if so and he does get a few goals for us it could be a good bit of business not having to dip into the 1.2 million we got for JCH .If he can get 10 plus goals and the other black striker we signed can get a few between them they may be able to match or exceed JCH total for last year, so could be a better signing than some might think.

Not who I was hoping for but obviously hope he proves to be a massive success.
Worries me a bit how few Gills fans are sorry to see him go. They rate Ehmer but most don't seem fussed that Hanlan has chose to leave.
His finishing is clearly a weakness he'll need to improve if he's going to score the 15+ goals we'll need from our No.9.
Lets hope like JCH his career takes off at Rovers.

He was available as a free agent, although as he is under 24, we owe Gillingham compensation.

Ayunga was very good on Tuesday night and scored. I’d start with him again Saturday , the new lad won’t have even trained with us where as Ayunga has and will be buzzing after Tuesday.

Room for another signing still? A defensive midfielder according to someone on another thread, from Newport.

Welcome to the Gas Brandon, may you have a wonderful career with us in Bristol. Advice for enjoying life with Bristol Rovers:
1. Work hard 2. Score lots of goals 3. Don't read this forum!

Welcome to the club this lad, hopefully finds the net fast.
I would live ua to sign a bit of experience now, a Wilbraham sort of player.
