This is League 1 Ben, not U23 Premiershit where there is absolutely no contact attempted or made. You cannot expect that in League 1, or the Refs to referee to that style of non-football. |

dont think anyone said the first three league games don't count ? Sure they did. We were not allowed to count last season. Or the cup games. Or the first 3 games because they were difficult. This season doesnt start until next week. To be fair, if you're gonna give a manager ten league games at the start of a season, then obviously the cup matches don't count and obviously last season's matches don't count. It counts in terms of we had to sit through it watching us lose, and giving BG an awful W/L record. And simply acknowledging our first three games of the season were gonna be difficult ones, seems fair enough. We have a problem and it's difficult to see how we're gonna get out of it (short of sacking BG), but all this 'this game doesn't count' bullshit, is just tedious bullshit. |

Garner is right about referees the standard is pathetic in league one I think you'll find it hard to find anyone who will disagree with this but you can't attribute our terrible form under Garner to this. It's a cop out. DC and GC had the same referees and they'd be attributing this seasons performances to their own coaching methods and the players they've bought in. |

I was hoping for improvement regardless of the result, but things are just going progressively further backwards! Can't defend BG, and I'm afraid I hate myself for saying this as I'm a hypocrite, but when there are no signs of improvement at all, the manager has to accept that last seasons results should contribute to our assessment of the early season form. It's simply nowhere near good enough, and he probably has to go. I am now very much the same as you, I was willing to give him time but I just can’t see him turning this around. We can’t wait we need to replace him now while the window is still open and hope to get someone like clough in. Maybe my willingness to back him and support him was down to blind faith and hope |
