In 2000 the winner wasn't announced until mid December. Think they are doing quite well under the circumstances... I am not a patient man, Grover. 2000 was different in that the difference in Florida was less than 100 with many more than that discarded because of "hanging chads" so they couldn't be read. Cost Gore the Presidency and quite possibly 100s of 1000s of lives. |

As am I. I'd like to know what each % of the vote is worth in terms of NET gain in votes for Biden at the moment. If they had a margin of 300k to make up and have gained 200k in say 10%, then its reasonable to expect that with 12% left he will make up the remainder and more The analysis I have been told is that Biden is getting 70% of the mail in votes from Philly and Pittsburgh. Which is why Trump's earlier lead of 200,000 is now below 100,000 with about 300,000 left to count. Yes, just saw on sky news that Biden only needs 58% of the remaining vote share to win it. He's on 70%. Biden is going to win it with PA. |

Which is why Trump's earlier lead of 200,000 is now below 100,000 with about 300,000 left to count. Yes, just saw on sky news that Biden only needs 58% of the remaining vote share to win it. He's on 70%. Biden is going to win it with PA. Come on Biden, you don't really inspire anyone, but just rid us of this trained chimp. |

If that happens and assuming there have been no election irregularities then American democracy is finished. |

How come New York and California can be counted Much quicker than Alaska and Nevada? Cali & NY are metropolitan areas can easily process millions of mail ballots. The other two are rural af and will struggle to count quickly... Same for Pennsylvania etc. A bit like comparing Clifton to Dundry, but on a much little bit bigger scale. |

The US democratic system proving to be one of the worst examples of democracy you’ll ever see yet again. Amazing isn’t it. Greatest country in the world and all that but they chuck an election and it looks like they’re a banana republic. If a third world country did this they’d be getting lined up to boot out ‘communism’ and unfair elections. I don’t know what to believe but they need to give their system a kick up the ass. If anyone should be able to organise a fair and transparent election it should be the US. They won’t though they’re too stubborn. Either way the election has a loser whichever way it goes and that’s the American people. Sad thing is they don’t know it. |

That's somewhat concerning. A media outlets job is to find truth through inquiry not just cutting someone off because they think (no matter how rightly) that they're lying. The problem with doing that is you don't change anybody's mind. The people who believe Trump won't believe him any less just because they cut this live feed. The people who believe will be saying "Of course they cut the live feed, they didn't want him telling everybody the truth". |
