How can anyone think this is a good performance. We look awful, tippy tappy football around the defence. There keeper has had hardly anything to do. They are top of the league. We are keeping possession well. I’m happy so far. |

He looks in a different class to the rest. I sense if JVS had been in goal we'd be 1-0 down now. Confused as to how he's been playing at Conference level. Very soon we might have to think about giving him a new contract, he’s only on a two year deal. |

Not too bad imo. Need more urgency in general but we've looked dangerous at times.

To be fair we were told Lincoln are only top because they’ve beaten a load of crap teams, so to demand that we are able to compete with them seems reasonable. |

Starting to wonder if I might have to eat my words a little bit. I missed the first 20 or so mins due to technical difficulties but have been very impressed with what I have seen. Both teams look decent tbh, quite enjoyable.
It is the most convincing I have seen us under BG.

Good half from us, already seem to be playing with much more confidence. We’re still lacking something attacking though I think.

Our approach is frustrating Lincoln and slowing their game down. As an away performance manager won’t be unhappy at half time. Possibilities for us in second half. We have created a few chances and dominated possession although Lincoln had a few opportunities to score. Happy with this start of our move up the table.

We’ve kept possession well away at a good side and caused a few problems to Lincoln with crosses into the box from Tutonda and a couple of shots from Daly.
McCormick, Tutonda, Grant, Hanlan and Daly playing well, pleased with our performance so far.

You say that but one thing I’m picking up from the commentary is that every time it goes to Harries he punts it long. I've been told it is a measured pass  |

Fairly happy with that half. Two very evenly matched teams. I think we have looked organised and have got the ball down and played at times. Tutonda having another very good game as is Baldwin and grant. McCormick really should of done better with that chance before halftime, when chances are at a premium we need to be clinical. Hoping for more of the same second half just hope for a bit more tempo in our passing

We will be selling him for big bucks if he carries on like this. Decent showing from the Gas so far. We have been the better side. We are lacking a bit of creativity but Dangerous Dave is very lively. If Macca had prodded that one in on the stroke of half time it would have been a deserved lead. Lincoln don’t look like Champions elect to me. |

David Tutonda looks very confident on the ball. Good signing. Jakkola is championship quality. Grant showing signs of ball winning. Not a bad first half but look light up top. 2 mid table teams trying to play.

I can't understand how McCormick missed the target, it seemed all he had to do was contect and it was in the net, or at least the goalie would have had to make a decent save.
I can't remember when we've last looked this good away from home, probably DC's era before we sold Harrison?
