If Hiwula is announced tomorrow then I know this has all been a dream .. I will come round having been in a coma in the BRI having been knocked off my bike after the penultimate game of our Confetence season. Not sure he's even the natural No 9 we need, I wouldn't be surprised if we did sign another striker before the window closes at 5pm tomorrow, even if only on loan, although we can still out of contract players like Hiwula after the window closes.

I think our recruitment this summer has been thought out and smart. I really like the fact that we've signed some highly rated young players like Grant, Westbrooke, Tutonda, Hanlan that are starting to establish themselves in the football league as well as some tried and tested experience in the form of Ehmer, Baldwin and now Oztumer. My only worry is that in this current economic environment with no fans, we've got to shift 5-6 players on in order to keep the budget down yet I'm not sure if we've left ourselves enough time with the transfer window closing in less than 24 hours. I also think Garner will have trouble keeping everyone happy with such a big squad and only so many spots in the first 11. A few of our players are under 24: Are there any provisions for Under 24 players under Squad Salary Cap? Clubs in both League One and League Two will agree on a fixed contract contribution amount on contracts of players under the age of 24. This amount will determine the amount contributed by Under 24 player to the overall cap. Example: If clubs in League One agree on a £50,000 per year contribution cap for Under 24 players then the contract value of any under 24 players earning more than £50,000 will be valued as £50,000 while calculating Squad Salary cap. Pretty sure it's only under 21's who don't count, although we're probably well under the budget as most of our summer signings were made before the salary cap kicked in, although i dread to think what our losses will be this season if we can't offload the likes of Ogogo but why stay at Rovers if they are not going to get any game time.

The finish at 1:38 is utterly disgusting. What a signing this is!

To those that like this, I will hunt you down. I like the real stuff, not that horrible sickly pink goo covered in Fry's chocolate.

Amazing player for Walsall up to 2 years ago though to a certain extent he has to prove himself again now after seemingly not quite being able to make the step up to the Championship. I wonder how much of his wages we’re paying. Fair play to Wael.

I remember seeing this guy a few years ago and thinking he would be premier league bound, at that time he certainly looked the best player in our league I am surprised that he never set the championship alight I think he will be a hell of an asset in a 5-3-2 formation operating as the most advanced of the middle three.

Just seen this, he could be a great signing. Just wondering why he can’t get in the Charlton team who are in our league and if there’s one position we don’t need cover for it central midfield. But if he’s considered better than what we’ve got then fair enough. Look forward to seeing him play. BG has some serious business now to keep everyone happy. UTG!

This guy is seriously good. When fit, he will be a first team regular and contributing massively. A player who wifi thrive in L1. The squad is getting very large - surely some players need to go? If I owned a football league club and had the money, this is exactly the time I'd choose to invest. You could almost buy a promotion at the moment for not much of an outlay. On the question of wages/budget, I reckon loaning out KB has freed up some miney, and BG did say last week that we are well within the pay cap, so I see this as a canny piece of business. We won't need to sign a 20 goal per season striker, as with this guy's assists, we've probably already got one, or certainly a lot more goals in the team generally.
