I thought we used a few lives up there. We let them play through us time and time again and rarely won the loose or 50/50 ball. On another day Shrews could have scored 3 but never mind, they didnโt. Garner needs to tighten the midfield because itโs like a sieve, and itโs been that way in every game Iโve watched. don't agree the midfield is weak - I'd say the defence look a bit vulnerable to balls slid into channels behind them - we are not the quickest at the back.

If I'm not mistaken, we've now won more of the last 4 league games than the previous 18 under Garner? Excellent recent run, confidence is building and the team clearly have got some guts about them. UTG! still it's only 5 wins in 65 for Garner, in it ?

I feel like Grant is the weak link unfortunately. Can't help but think a dogged agogo to break up play and then give a simple pass to the players around him would be an improvement. Been saying that all season. Grant isnt an improvement on Clarke or Ogogo. He is arguably even worse than Upson. Lol you have to be kidding

Great result - clean sheet too. bit of a strange game - don't know if we played well or not. Also, slightly surprised it was only 1 -0. Both sides had some very good chances and of course Ehmer came to the rescue too. Otzumer impressed when coming on - he could be an excellent signing. UTFG !!! Good in parts, back three did well and we looked good going forward. But we were a better all round team than them. A good sign this early in the season. Garner in.

Very up and down performance, looked good for a while then poor for a bit, but a good win. Really narrow pitch didn't help our wing backs. Three points and on we go.

Thought we were much better 2nd half first half we didnt keep the ball well enough once we'd gone ahead. Defensively we looked pretty solid although they had a lot of the ball and a few scary moments it was only really one Clarke chance in the first half and the Ehmer goaline clearance that truly threatened us. As others have said we managed the game well from midway through 2nd half and from then on they rarely looked like scoring. Confidence is growing we have good players not currently starting games and a lot of young players that are only going to get better. Well done BG & the boys, onwards & upwards

Great performance I thought especially the 2nd half, classic away performance.๐ 3 points at Accy on Saturday, you bet! The only downer on the night was I knocked a can of Stella all over the place when we scored! ๐ฑUTG!

I feel like Grant is the weak link unfortunately. Can't help but think a dogged agogo to break up play and then give a simple pass to the players around him would be an improvement. I've been thinking the same regarding Grant. I was expecting a lot more from him as a solid defensive midfielder but with every game that passes I think hes miles off of what Ogogo has offered us. Think garner has been awful regarding the Ogogo situation and I think he may learn to regret his handling of a player that for me is the only other player we have to compete with Grant and the fact there is no competition for Grant's place hes a shoeing to be picked each week regardless of his sloppy start to the season. I'm hesitant to blame Garner too much. We have a big squad and he had to drop someone - it was likely to be one of the legacy players.

Those slagging off Grant, he won 4 tackles today and his reading of the game was generally very good. A few sloppy passes, but then so did all of our outfield players. That's why they are playing in League One.

The Doncaster defeat not looking so bad now. Ipswich 4-1 down in 64 minutes.
