We’ve scored and missed a gilt edge chance, despite all Hull’s pressure and possession, they haven’t tested Jaakkola much. A good half for Rovers.

Another professional performance, game management good and soaking up the pressure well.
Hull look good, but so far unable to create anything, good defending from us.

It could have been 2-0. I think we are showing that we are no pushovers. Looking forward to the second half. If this keeps up we will continue to be the form team that will be worth watching. Let’s be honest quite a few didn’t expect a 1-0 at HT. We might start to dream if we win this game.

Well I'm happy, first time I've been able to pick up a Rovers match on BBC Bristol in about 3 years, unchanged side and a goal to boot, nice! Same here. I was listening to build up on internet and expected commentary to dissapear at kick off Ah, so it's on the digital? 😭😭 Typical, I can never get Rovers on the FM, and everygame go through the effort of getting my old phone out and plugging it up to my speaker to try and tune in, and we're always on the MW o AM. Lol, and I thought I was lucky here 😂 |

Decent first half, a perfect start Daly took his goal really well, we've defended very well so far against a good side but think BG will want us to keep the ball a bit better 2nd half. We've given it away cheaply at times which has invited them on, we should really be 2 up and do look a threat. Keep the ball better & the game is there to win

1-0 up and should've been 2. We've contained Hull (have they retained many players? as I don't see them as championship quality). They'll have another 15mins of pressure at least but if we can see that out and start putting their goal under pressure there's a win here.
Can compare the game to Sunderland where we also got early goal against one of the big teams but then absorbed pressure for 85mins. We look more dangerous and play out more successfully (albeit sometimes sloppy) tonight than that game which gives me confidence.

They reckon they could have been 4 or more down with the shambolic performance. Rollin seems to be getting the most stick. Without the calming influence of Craig nearby it seems that he (and Alfie for us?) are both struggling.
