So frustrating watching our CBs giving the ball away all the time. Harries in particular today. And there's never any pressure on the ball. Bloody infuriating it's like we're just waiting for them to score again.

We're so slow in possession and too immobile when they have the ball. Our 'passing' forward is lamentable, rochdale don't have to win the ball back, they just have to wait for us to give it to them. We are making them look much better than they are really are. Not bringing in our attacking players at all, the disconnect between them and the rest of the team needs to be addressed at half time or we'll lose this game. Need to give rochdale more to think of in the second half Our midfield Westbrook and Grant seem frightened of touching the ball, so the CB's have to result to hoof ball, we may as well just tell Jaakola to hoof it Coughlin style.

If we were good enough to pass it around, we would be in higher divisions. Opposition Just have to wait and we will lose the ball. Nicholson stand out from the bits I saw but laptop keeps freezing! Team lack any urgency; just too slow everywhere?

Have to say that from about the 20 minute mark onwards, we have been very poor. A better team than Rochdale would have put us to the sword I think. Lack of energy, midfield sitting too deep, and central defenders committing a series of suicidal slack passes into midfield.
Hopefully a big improvement in the second half.

And we never seem to win 50/50s or loose balls in midfield.

How is it? Not able to watch this one today. We were on top scored a great goal then just sat back again.

Seems to be a pattern lately that we score early and try to survive the rest of the game. Us scoring an early goal filled Rochdale with confidence.

We have to sort out our game management. Every time we get in front we seem to retreat into ourselves. Rochdale were rattled and not coping with Nicholson and we just got deeper and deeper and the gap between the lines becomes unsustainable. We need to get that defensive line higher up, but I worry if we have the pace in the back 3 for a higher line.

Brookman talking b0ll0cks about the players thinking they've won, when the truth is Rochdale simply took the game to us once we scored.

How can Oztumer not be good enough to get into this side, Westbrook has done nothing in midfield and Daly hasn't even touched the ball. Probally not match fit and he would have been competing for Nicholson's position in this formation, who has been our best player. Baldwin was shocking for the goal again, real School boy stuff. Wind might have taken it pay him, but it looked like his just miss judged the flight of the ball. Rochdale look an ok side. You can see their confidence is up, after getting 7 points from 9. We have to do better with the ball during the 2nd half. I would take a point now.

Started well and scored a very good goal. I'm not sure we have consciously sat back to me it seems more that it's being caused by us giving the ball away so regularly. We've given away a shocking goal Baldwin completely out of position & both the other centre backs havent covered around. Daly hasn't got in the game so possibly Oztuhmer or JML to come on but whatever we do we have to keep the ball better

Pretty poor so far , I’m yet to be convinced with this style that involves the defence playing pointless passes to each other and Westbrooke who seems to be a quarterback sitting in front of the playing pointless passes to the defence before we give the ball away. I’d like to see us play a more direct higher tempo game through midfield we’ve got the players to do it but everything seems to go through Westbrooke and he slows it down so much it’s infuriating I actually preferred Coughlans style. It’s a results business and as long as the results are at least half decent I’ll be happy but I think the whole Garners side are good to watch thing is a myth.

Common sense tells you if the wind is against you sit deeper and if the ball does go over you then the keeper as it covered. The players do need a kick up the ass and some hair dryer treatment, but not sure If that's BG style.

I have never seen an American style kick off before where player passes back, stopper stops the ball and Westbrook converts? What is the point of the 2nd player?
