2-1 to the Gas tonight, they wont have come up against anything like our front 3 and their endless pressing - Hanlan will be a real pain in their backsides. The geeza on the scout podcast said they aren't the most solid defensively so get can get at um I reckon.
If we go in to this too defensively as in 5-3-2 not 3-5-2 then I don't feel we will succeed and I fear that may be the tactics... defend and go for the quick counter. Would love us to have that ability and am open minded enough to hope we have that drilled during training
Interesting highlights in this one... Posh vs Burton who we sat off to create our own downfall and only gain 1 point instead of 3
Does it give you more hope (looking at how much time their defense give Burton)?

It seems like we are good for one shocking defensive mistake a game.
So they will score one.
If we can take our chances and score more than one I fancy us to get a result.

Can only see a defeat here, unfortunately.
They have far more firepower than us & when there’s a matchup in systems like there will be tonight (unless BG springs a surprise...), then the better team will usually come out on top.

Unfortunately it's going to be a defeat for the gas tonight.
Peterborough are too good up front for us and with our defender prone to mistakes at this moment in time they will take advantage.
IF we do go 1-0 is just hope it's not early in the same as we'll just sit back and get the pressure on. E.g Hull
I think they are not the best at the back, but also dont feel we have the fire power upfront to out score them.

Shame that a lot on here seem to have written us off for this game. I think I have seen enough of us this season to feel we are more than capable of getting a result tonight, certainly if we can avoid those silly lapses of concentration at the back.
When playing for us JCH seemed to have knack of buying free kicks well perfected so we need to be wise to that and defend any set pieces well which has been a bit of an Achilles heel for our team.
But we also have enough threat in our team to really cause them problems, I think it’s going to be a very entertaining game. UTG

Peterborough have some good attacking players capable of scoring them goals but I’ve got a feeling they aren’t as good as an all round unit as say Hull or Ipswich, they drew 2-2 at home to Burton the other week.
So if we’re at the top of our game defensively, I reckon we can get something here. 2-1 Gas, Hanlan brace.
