Tisdale has stated in interviews they are his players now and no excuses. What Was he watching as changes needed to be made at half time. A game that we could and should have won as Swindon were worse than Northampton and Burton. If he is taking advice from his coaches I think they have stitched him up as that starting line up was shocking. Yes, they're his players. Doesn't mean he's got a magic 8 ball and knows his best 11 and the right substitutions to make overnight. So how do other managers come into a club and make an immediate impact. He watched the game on Wednesday surely that should have given him a bit of a clue. I'm not saying he should know his best 11 yet but surely he has to know that a midfield of Grant Upson and McCormick is not going to work.

So TW gets a narrow win against a load of kids at home and suddenly he's the massiah. Tisdale can't do the same away to a L1 side having only met the players a couple of days ago and we have people asking if we can get Coughlan back. Unbelievable!

By all means comment on the performance but to come out with sh** like shouldn't have got rid of Garner and putting it at Tisdale's form is bullshit. It's Garners mess. Who said we shouldn't have got rid of Garner? That performance today is on Tisdale, the coaches and the players. Garner not even at the club and it's still his fault for today's performance? He left a week ago! Tisdale has had one session with the squad, and an introductory one at that. He doesn't know the players yet. He had to ride on the coaches to pick this squad today as he mentioned in his pre match interview. Garner's philosophy, his manner of play are all in effect at the moment, he will need at least a week to implement a manner of play to turn us around, probably more. To blame the players, the coaching staff, then fair play but I really don't see what PT could have done in such a short space of time.

When you have no strikers on the bench game after game . You realise WHY the board allowed garner to put together the most unbalanced squad I ever witness in 40 years.
We have a situation were some players in midfield might never get a game . We have not 1 or 2 but 4 left backs.
My concern is hanlan will get burntout and we will have to use emergency strikers from other areas. We still got 10 games to window and 1 fit tired overused striker.
It's frustrating because this was coming and everyone could see it !!

It’s such a chore watching Rovers at the moment.
I really can’t be arsed with them at the moment. They’re doing my head in.

First half the problem was obvious
Hare and Tutonda had 2 players against them and so had to stay back . This meant swindon had the advantage defending and the overlap when playing down the wings. That was rectified half time but really they should have taken harries off for Westbrook then. Going 442.
Unlucky with Nicholson hitting the post.
To sum it up. Kilgour was too green for pitman. Hare and Tutonda ineffective and mistake prone due to pressure on them. McCormick battled all game. Upson was error laden early doors but grew into the game. Grant did well. Ehmer and jaakola were proficient Hanla started well but drifted out of the game second half. Nicholson whilst giving the ball away a couple of times was an attacking threat Harries...hmm do to want to be hard on him but due to him being more comfortable on the ball meant he got it more and therefore made more poor passes.
Team played a different game today and it was a scrappy game. Rovers could have won but they lost. Need to settle down midweek against Wigan and start to be more alive to the final ball and spills etc.
Shame to lose but didnt fall asleep watching triangles at least.

Well that was very disappointing but perhaps not unexpected. Lack of urgency again until it was too late, no ability to move the ball and find a player and again no sign of creativity. Think Tisdale has got a bigger job on his hands than I thought. No one of our players can come away from that performance with any pride. First game we have lost away all year and first to a team below top 10 in any competition all season...now Tisdale has to start form scratch with players he didn’t want / don’t work to his system. He needs three transfer windows Three transfer windows? Many more performances like that and he'll be lucky to get one transfer window.

Upson should never be given a place in this squad again. Nobody played well, but Kilgour, Harries, Upson, Grant and Tutonda were particularly poor and I hope will be dropped for the next game. Shocking display. You can add Hare to that list.

You can’t judge Tisdale yet but I think fans are entitled to question why we made a tactical substitution in the 88th minute and bring on 2 defenders chasing the game?...

I just don't understand why anyone would give such advice or did he ask them who would make it the most solid and uninspiring team so he didn't lose the match.
