Although nice to see Hargreaves and Walker in the squad. We really do have too many midfielders don’t we!
Expect Tis to remedy this area as a matter of urgency alongside bringing in an other striker in Jan.

He’s gone for a tougher midfield 3 there in a similar way to Coughlan used too. To be fair Liverpool tend to have mostly tough ball winners in midfield and rely on marauding fullbacks and the forwards for the flair. You have to win the 50/50s and earn the right to play. Something Garner didn’t seem to understand. |

Hope Daly's head injury isn't too bad. Thought he would be unavailable today. If the doctor said he had to go off, due to concussion, then you can't normally play for already a week. Sometimes two weeks. |

BG was given a good budget and decided to gamble on 3 strikers . It means we have one fit striker with 11 games to window. However : we got 4 goalies 4 left backs millions in midfield. Surely tisdale knows a free agent who can replace mehew and help out poor hanlan  . |

I will be watching the game whilst in the shower, just so it feels like the last time we sat there, ps im sitting in the stand if we ever go there again. I was in the stand that day, rain in biblical proportions. I recall the sun coming out as we walked back to the car, even had beers in the garden at the Crown off the A46 on the way home. For the replay we sat in the stand again, it was very satisfying that both our goals came from swindle f*ck ups  I got very wet on that day. Remember Gasheads shouting “Swindon Oasis - you’re having a laugh.” It’s shut down permanently now sadly. Plus also remember a very entertaining return train ride with some very naughty gasheads on the carriage. |

Was Upson at MK Dons when Tisdale was there Don’t think so, he came to us after they got relegated which was when Tisdale went there. I’m pleased to see him in the squad, adds some much needed seniority to the upper half of the squad. |

Very pleased to see Upson starting again. Thought he would start to be fair, as we needed that extra quality and experience in midfield. He played really well Wednesday and was a big part of that fluid attacking football we saw. Up the Gas!!

Hope I’m wrong but under whelmed with that as a starting set up .. Really don’t rate Upson. ( Watch him score now )
