Totally agree. Add to skewed composition of the squad (ie loads of defenders and midfielders but few strikers) we have a dearth of fighting spirit. This team needs to win matches and is not good enough to stroll through games. This is a team that scores few goals with an inferior goal difference. Where are the leaders in this squad? One to ask our new DoF at the next Q&A? Although no doubt BG will get the blame even though somebody higher up the pyramid must have been approving all his signings. The signings late in the day of Liddle and Koiki seems particularly odd when it was already clear by the time we signed them that we needed a striker or two plus some much needed experience. Don’t know what you are talking about, this is the best squad we’ve had since getting promoted to league one

He was already subbed when they scored, Upson was picking him up from that free kick. I assumed it couldn't be Upson as we wouldn't be daft enough to have a CM marking a striker, I'd love to know who's responsible for organising our defence during a match, Ehmer?, as we seem all over the place when a free kick or corner is put into our box. Not sure although they usually know before the game who they should be marking. I noticed under BG we would have some along the six yard box zonal marking, some picking up players, that's why at times the penalty spot area was empty, as the defenders marking players would be drawn to the far post and if the ball got headed back across our zonal markers were still stood on the six yard line.

We’ve recruited too many and too much of the same Craig should have been given another season and Ogogo , well I’m baffled how he was released need some grit and experience among these starlets and projects

Ogogo hasn't been released he's on loan at D & R until January. We can have him back then.

Jaakola
Westbrook
Hare Ehmer Baldwin Leahy
Oztumer or nicholson Grant Hargreaves Tutonda
Hanlan
All types of combinations have been named on here so someone will be right ! I'm going for the old glen hoddle style sweeper as nobody has gone for that yet !

Jaakkola
Hare ——Ehmer ——Harries—— Koiki ——Westbrooke ——McCormick—— Nicholson ——————————Barrett ——————————-Ozzy————- ——————Hanlan————————
Hear me out. Play McCormick in the Josh Sheehan role and Ozzy in the space between attack and midfield.
Hare and Koiki sit a bit deeper as defensive Rb and Lb and Harries can play those diagonal balls if needed
Barrett could be Dave or JML
Play the ball on the deck for majorly of the game and get Hanlan facing goal with the ball at his feet

Certainly agree we have to look forward, disappointing that one game in there are 3 or 4 anti Paul Tisdale threads but there we are. I won't add my selection to the debate as i do not see the answer to our problems in the current set up , that is some steel , fight and aggression , perhaps recalling Abs would help or Hargreaves? also making sure that our wing backs or what ever you call them know that there priority is to defend and only go charging forward when the situation allows, think we have to allow Paul Tisdale to assess ,address and implement his ideas before we judge him, think we are ok for G/K and the front two (Daly/Hanlan) can not be faulted but the rest ,work to be done whether in personnel or combinations of. Up the Rovers.

Personally I'd go back to basics with this squad 4-4-2 -------------Jaakola Little - Harries - Ehmer - Tutonda Rodman - Westbrooke - Oztumer - JML/Koiki ---Nicholson - Hanlan If Daly is back then stick him up front with Hanlan and put Nicholson out wide I thought Little had a long term injury? Was he even named in our squad submitted to the EFL? Absolutely no idea tbh. We have so many players these days I just lose track of anyone out of the match day squad. Wouldn't surprise me if he was injured though.

So summing up, DC’s time was up, GC had us playing crap football, BG didn’t have a clue, and after one game PT should expect a visit from the fashion police. Oh, and we’ve ended up with a team worst than when we started. Have I got that right?

Tisdale is going to suffer from the fact we have too many defenders, too many midfielders, but not enough up front that you can guarantee to hit the target. I see a long winter ahead Totally agree. Add to skewed composition of the squad (ie loads of defenders and midfielders but few strikers) we have a dearth of fighting spirit. He is at Dagenham and Redbridge !
