I may be in a minority here but I’ve been relatively happy with our start. We look more comfortable and balanced and seem to be playing at a far greater tempo. We are trying to play also. I know they're out of fashion now and we're not allowed them but a striker would be nice. |

I know they're out of fashion now and we're not allowed them but a striker would be nice. I do agree, hopefully we address this in January. 3 strikers was never going to be enough. Nicholson is a very good player but from wide for me. He done great to get into that position but really needed to finish it off. |

watching on iFollow, what do the coaches and managers see in Grant?? He must be phenomenal in training because he hasn't been good enough on the pitch. First BG wouldn't drop him and now PT seems convinced on the player. He just seems sloppy in possession most of the time. Bring on Westbrooke.

Wigan look shot of confidence and poor, they're still getting some chances against us though. For the most part we look ok, neat approach play. Sam Nicholson is a little too light up front for me, he looks dangerous getting in behind and should have scored but he's getting easily bullied off the ball.

For how poor wigan are we have to bring Westbrook on second half instead of upson or grant! This wigan side is awful truly awful and if we cant beat them then I really do worry where we will finish this season

We’re playing well, Oztumer has been lively. Putting together some nice moves and the formation suits us a lot more than 5-3-2 IMO.
If Nicholson had tucked away his chance, we would look comfortable.
Having said that we do look a bit toothless up front, which I suppose is understandable with no striker.
Wigan look poor and allow us a lot of possession and territory for us to use the ball. Only concern is them grabbing a goal on the counter.

Decent enough half in the circumstances and much better than Saturday already. Should be ahead and Wigan definitely there for the taking. Come on boys, big 2nd half please!
