He's a little thicker around the middle than Rooney. Rooney was definitely stocky but Barrett seems to have a bulge from chest to waist. Rooney was a top player who belied his physique. Barrett has yet to prove he belies his. Was only a body type comparison. I remember Rooney taking many many games after injury and end of season layoffs taking a fair few games to get completely match fit. Hopefully Barrett can get a run in the side to build that fitness as he undoubtedly has a lot of talent |

Not at all convinced by the substitutions tonight. I'm not mad about them. We needed to shake it up, if he didn't we'd complain he didn't change anything. Without creating too much I would say we seem to have a bit more of a fire lit under our a*se since the subs. Barrett looks useful. Not so much who he brought on, more who he left on the pitch |

Not at all convinced by the substitutions tonight. Agree. Oztumer was looking the most dangerous too. He's done nothing all night, god knows who sanctioned his signing when he's the opposite of what we wanted upfront. |

Dreadful result this. Wigan are getting beat by everyone else but us. I can see us getting cut adrift over the next month. There’s no quality in this side at all.

0-0 would be a very poor result even without a recognised striker on the pitch. FFS Spain won the World Cup and Euros without an out and out striker. Nicholson had to score that chance in the first half, it would have been a different game.

We are in one hell of a relegation fight. Wigan were truly awful and we were as bad. Couldn't even score against a team that sh**e. And Swindon too - wow.
