Jaakkola-watch as ball curled over his head, and drop one in front of himself but distribution was good and otherwise solid 7
Hare-Tried to get forward more than saturday but didnt have the impact with crosses as previously seen, solid without excitement 6
Ehmer -Better than many give him credit for, suited to a backfour. 7
Baldwin-big bloke poor touch old cliche but true 7
Leahy-did ok but pedestrian going forward 6
McCormick-Terrific first half, neat touches and got stuck in 8
Grant-getting better bossed the midfield 7.5
Upson-ok. but poor miss when chance fell to him, 6.5
Koiki yet to impress 5
Oztumer bouced around a lot but flattered to deceive 6
Nicholson-worked his socks off looks a great signing just the goal aluded him 8.5
Subs: Barrett-he looked to have a good touch and some vision needs a few games but could be a bonus 7
Walker-promosing 6.5
Westbrooke-he is better than 20 minutes at the end of a game, i would like him in the central position ahead og upson
Kilgour no mistakes today so an improvement 6

Jaakkola 5 a bit nervy Hare 4 off the pace, could have took on the fullback at times Ehmer 7 solid Baldwin 7 solid Leahy 6 ok McCormick 7.5 worked hard and some nice touches Grant 6 put himself about Upson 6 did some good tackling and passing, just to slow Kioki 5 Oztumer 6 good first half , a bit poor with his passing second half Nicholson 7 played well but that miss was bad, didn't let it effect him though. Subs: Barrett 6 showed good vision , not everything came off but he looked like he could create chances. Walker 5 lively Westbrooke 6 ok Kilgour 6 stopped them getting down the right when he came on. Ref 5 Wigan 3 used to moan about our throw ins, very poor and really should of beat them. |

Jaakkola 6 is not inspiring confidence atm.
Hare 6 not the JH we all know, not quite the crosser and appalling yellow card challenge.
Ehmer 6 still can't see it.
Baldwin 7 best of defence.
Leahy 6 last man pass back when we are on attack for our on pitch top goalscorer!?
McCormick 7 bags of energy, lively and interesting just no final delivery.
Grant 7.5 good battling performance.
Upson 7 I liked his contribution, gave it all, even a wayward shot but at least he tried.
Kioki 6.5 still not convinced.
Oztumer 7 ok match, perhaps we set our sights high as the dazzle hasn't appeared yet.
Nicholson 7.5 m o m lumps kicked out of him and everything but he led the line with great temperament and commitment being involved with almost all our attacks.
Subs: Barrett 7 nice to see him back and almost scored a worldy.
Walker 6.5 hope to see more of the buzzy player.
Westbrooke 5.5 slow in delivery and failing to hit the heights of what we expected.
Kilgour 5.5 worried.
Ref 7 think he got his yellow card distribution spot on..
Wigan 3 and we think we've got problems?! Relegation written all over it and if I were their fans I would be worried about next season too.... looked like they might struggle in Conference league at this rate..

Jaakkola 5 well below his best, luckily Wigan were so crap it didn't cost us. Hare 6 adequate , played a more conventional right back role; Ehmer 7.5 a good strong game; Baldwin 8 M.o.M like Ehmer, strong and decisive and they are both better suited as a pair. Leahy 7 good display, again more suited to the new fprmation. McCormick 7.5 again bags of energy, he just needs to add a bit more end product. Grant 7.5 he's learning and improving. Upson 6.5 kept things ticking over. Kioki 5.5 not quite sure what his role was supposed to be, did little wrong, the game seemed to pass him by. Oztumer 6 average but went missing too often. Nicholson 7 missed a glorious chance but overall impressed with his undoubted quality I feel there's much more to come from him. Subs: Barrett 7.5 he oozes quality , the playmaker that we've missed all season. Walker 7 looked bright, a great prospect. Westbrooke 6 an ok game Kilgour 7 looked more confident,lets hope the old Alfie is back. Ref 7 ok (an extra point for not giving Wigan a penalty that looked nailed on) Wigan 3 awful. in two years time they will have the best ground in the National league! |

Jaakkola 6 - not as confident as usual
Hare 4 - couple of good passes. Many very poor passes and defensively a big liability.
Ehmer 7 - Commanding performance against poor opposiion
Baldwin 7 - as per Ehmer
Leahy 5.5 - average performance. Looked more solid than Tutonda or Koiki recently.
McCormick 6.5 - good enegetic performance but final ball and finishing let him down at times
Grant 5.5 - not a bad performance but against a poor side should had been a lot better
Upson 5 - reasonable but against a poor side should of been better and missed a good chance. Too slow for League One
Koiki 5 - couple of flashes which indicated he has talent but overall disappointing
Oztumer 6 - good skill and vision especially in the first half. Faded after the break.
Nicholson 7 - a class ahead of other forwards on the pitch. Battled hard but should of scored.
Subs: Barrett 5 - showed that he had good vision but execution poor. Not surprising after so long out. Looked a lot fitter. Begs well for the future.
Walker 5 - looked good at times but against a poor defence would of hoped for more
Westbrooke 5 - bad tactical decision to play him out wide. Was out of his comfort zone
Kilgour 5 - tried to get forward more but did not make much of a positive impact
Ref 6
Wigan 3 - with Swindon appear to be the two worst teams we have played. Hugely disappointing to have only got one point from these two games.

Jaakkola: 6 another quiet night. Nearly made a blunder in first half with cross.
Hare: 4.5 never got going. Sloppy in possession
Ehmer: 7 solid performance.looked more comfortable in a back 4.
Baldwin: 7 solid performance.
Leahy: 6.5 reliable. Added experience.
McCormick: 7.5 very good display. Wanted the ball and worked hard.
Grant: 6.5 getting better each week. Looked more comfortable in this formation.
Upson: 6 added experience. Slow in possession at times.
Koiki: 5.5 quiet game. Needed to get involved more
Oztumer: 6.5 got on the ball on the half turn. Played in between the lines but was often knocked off the ball.
Nicholson: 7.5 MOTM apart from miss had a great game. Starting to look the part.
Subs: Barrett: 7 wanted the ball. Looking forward to seeing him fully fit.
Walker: 6 looked lively. Expect to see him start Sunday.
Westbrooke: 6 neat touches and control. Looks better in advanced position.
Kilgour 6: shaky start but settled
Ref: 6 average
Wigan: 3.5 can only see relegation

The previous lowest opposition rating for a game that Rovers didn't win was by Crawley who rated a 3.50 despite winning at the Mem in 2016/17.
The starting XI average was 6.19. It was the biggest differential between teams in a drawn game, beating the 3.5 difference between Rovers and Bolton in 16/17.
