Ed Upson, Luke Leahy, two players who come in for a hard time who put in a lot more than supporters realise. Ed Upson would be in my team week in week out too. Upson's too slow for my liking but he's fairly reliable and passing is good. Westbrooke has a lot of potential but is a luxury player at the moment. Upson definitely doesn't deserve to be talked about as he is on here sometimes. Steady player with an experienced head. He makes mistakes, but less than most. That's exactly what we need right now. According to the post Tisdale has told them that's why him and Leahy are coming back in the team post falling out of the squad at the end of the Garner era. |

Cannot understand why Mitchel Lawson doesnt even get in the squad withh no0 forwards on thhe bench. Would also have liked to see Barrett on the bench at least.

I'd suggest it's because he likes to practice his forward dive and his breakdancing as opposed to pushing on to attack off his own merit. Talented player but based on his attitude on the pitch, I'd personally send him back. He's probably just injured though. |

Would have thought Sunday’s game would have been the perfect time for Barrett to get another half hour or so after the Wigan game. No idea what’s happens to JML. Probably our most attacking player after the strikers so he would have been another good option off the bench. |

I’ve also no problem with Upson in the team. It’s clear PT likes more experience and until he can address that in January, we are likely to see a lot more of Upson.
Leahy is also our best left back when we play a back four so he should be in the team anyway. The other two are probably better when we play with wing backs.

Agree we could use more attacking options from the bench but presumably there are reasons why JML and Bennett are out of favour. |
